&pizza — Restaurant in College Park

The manager at the College Park location (12/7 @ 1:15p, Order# 31583118514094082) was mean and disrespectful. The pizza made was burnt and I asked them to remake it. The cashier was very kind and agreed to remake the order. She explained my request to the manager.

The manager exhibited body language to convey her displeasure. She aggressively told me that the pizza would come out the same way because that's how vegan cheese is cooked. It's not. I've been coming to &pizza for a year and have never had a pizza in this condition. She reluctantly remade the pizza - and it WAS NOT BURNT!

The cashier asked me what finishings I wanted and I requested the garlic sauce. She obliged. The manager came up to the front (I presume to exert her authority) and insisted that I pay for the garlic butter, which I did not know was an extra charge. The cashier very kindly explained to the manager that she wasn't sure I should be charged because she didn't tell me there would be an extra charge. The manager insisted that I pay, saying very rudely to the cashier "I'm the manager" and that I should pay for the garlic butter. To avoid further conflict, I paid.

I have NEVER had a negative experience at &pizza and I'm dismayed that this experience has changed my perception of this...

Excellent service! For my first time getting &pizza I just wanted to try something new I went to PG plaza which at the time during work it was the closest location. I had a terrible experience, employees attitude was trash. Then a friend at work recommended me to this location for my lunch break which was just up the street, I went in they welcome me in, the restaurant was very clean and neat, got to see the menu on the screens. I really didn’t know what I wanted to try but the young lady with the purple hair told me about the options and difference between the pizzas , I felt comfortable and please with my pizza and looked and tasted amazing 10 out of 10. Very fresh pizza recommend asking for hot honey at the end and oh the difference sauce option before and after is a plus. Also she apologized of &pizza about the disappointing experience I received at pg plaza. I will Definitely well recommend family and friends to this...

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing team at &pizza. The ladies and one gentleman working during my visit were incredibly polite and respectful, even though I was being quite a picky customer. They went above and beyond to accommodate my requests without a hint of attitude, which I deeply appreciate.

It’s rare to find customer service staff with this level of patience and professionalism. Often, being a picky customer can result in frustration or attitude from staff, but this team handled everything with a smile and genuine care.

The store manager or owner should be extremely proud of their staff for maintaining such high standards of service. Thank you for a wonderful experience—I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this location to others! The pizza was...
