I recently had the pleasure of dining at Little Blue Menu, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the food and the overall experience. Little Blue Menu is a hidden gem that doesn't offer onsite dining but compensates with ample free parking and an enticing menu. Here's my detailed review of the dishes I tried during my visit:
First and foremost, the Single Burger was a delightful surprise. It's not often that a simple burger exceeds expectations, but this one did just that. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy, and packed with flavor. The accompanying toppings and condiments were fresh and complemented the burger exceptionally well. It's clear that the cooks pays attention to every detail, from the choice of ingredients to the cooking technique. The Single Burger is a must-try for any burger enthusiast.
Next up were the sweet potato tots, and they were nothing short of amazing. These bite-sized delights were a perfect balance of sweet and savory. They were cooked to a golden crispness, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. What truly stood out was the seasoning – it was spot-on, enhancing the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes without overpowering them. I couldn't stop myself from indulging in these addictive tots.
Moving on to the flame-broiled chicken sandwich, my friend was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender and had a charred flavor that was absolutely delicious. The lettuce and tomatoes that adorned the sandwich were incredibly fresh and added a refreshing contrast to the savory chicken. The bun was also soft and held everything together nicely. This sandwich is proof that even a simple chicken sandwich can be elevated to gourmet levels when prepared with care.
As a fan of onion rings, we couldn't resist ordering them, and we're glad we did. The onion rings at Little Blue Menu were pleasantly fresh, with a satisfyingly crisp outer layer that gave way to tender, sweet onion on the inside. The seasoning was on point – not too salty, just enough to enhance the overall flavor. These onion rings were a delightful side dish that complemented the other items perfectly.
Now, let's talk about the overall experience at Little Blue Menu. While there is no onsite dining, the ample free parking makes it convenient for customers to order and enjoy their meals in the comfort of their own cars or take them to go. The efficiency of the service was also worth noting, with my order prepared promptly and accurately.
In conclusion, our visit to Little Blue Menu was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. The Single Burger, sweet potato tots, flame-broiled chicken sandwich, and onion rings were all top-notch. The absence of onsite dining was compensated by the convenience of ample free parking, making it a great option for those looking for a quick and delicious meal. With all these factors considered, we have no hesitation in giving Little Blue Menu a well-deserved 5/5 stars. Read moreChick-Fil-a pizza is wild! I think it’s worth the price, but don’t be expecting anything amazing. There is so much sauce and it is way overpowering. The buffalo pizza was better than the CFA pizza, but only get it if you’ve never had it or if you’re in a saucy mood 😁
1st time: Nice concept from Chick-Fil-A; needs some improvement. I was very exited to see this restaurant in College Park, and finally got the chance to try it out. The process is very simple: you either order ahead of time or order there. No wait in line when I went at around 8 PM, but I assume it’s busier earlier. I got the Signature Burger, the Old Bay Traditional Wings, and a side of Brussels Sprouts. It was ready surprisingly fast. The wait for food is kind of weird; everyone is just standing in the sidewalk waiting for their name to be called. There were tables as well, but those were filled by those already eating. When I tried my food, I was not disappointed. The burger was the best thing. It was pretty light (I only got a single) and the toppings were great. Very easy to eat, and I just kept wanting to eat more. If you get a burger, I’d recommend getting all toppings on it. The wings were all right. The nice breading and sufficient seasoning made the first wing taste very good. Over time, though, I kind of realized there was a little too much breading and maybe a little much salt on the wings. Chick-Fil-A knows chicken, so the chicken itself was good, but just eat at a regular Chick-Fil-A if you’re hungry for chicken. The burger and 8 wings costed $13 total. I had a free side, so I got the Brussels Sprouts. They were… just Brussels Sprouts. Nothing special. Nothing bad. No twist or extra flavor. If I go back, which is likely since I live 1 minute away, I will just stick to the burger. I will probably try the bacon cheeseburger. Overall, Little Blue Menu is somewhere around a 6/10. If they can make a few adjustments, bread their wings with the same light breading they do at regular Chick-Fil-A, then it could definitely reach as high as an 8/10.
2nd time: Came here again for the bacon cheeseburger. GET THE BACON CHEESEBURGER. The bacon is a nice, thick cut and this is definitely the best food Little Blue...
Read moreI live in the apartment building next door and have been visiting frequently since they opened in October (so convenient I can't resist). The test kitchen menu offers burgers, wings, some additional sides and pastries. The burgers and sweet potato fries are a hit from the test run. However their menu is not entirely cohesive and really could use better aligned offerings, especially with the side dishes. It's been open for almost half a year now and they haven't added or changed their menu? This company struggles to do anything beyond ordinary and boring so it's not surprising but this is a start. The service and design flow here is the absolute most egregious disaster. This is the first restaurant ever I've walked out without getting my paid order because of how absolutely irritating it is. One person handling all pickup orders ? Who thought that was appropriate, no order kiosk for the people who refuse to download your app???? (The app is great, people are just slow to adapt). I've consistently waited 5-10 MINUTES for an order that's already done sitting on the shelf behind the single associate stuck taking orders for everyone. I've made easily 60+ trips here in the last 6 months and 50/60 of those trips I was either missing sauce, half my food entirely, or incorrect drink/food. Order accuracy less than 10%. Please check your food and bags at the counter before leaving! Also they use an unnecessary amount of bagging for the little blue menu items, I don't need a separate paper bag for each item I order. It's to the point where I'd consider contacting local government and EPA because we have a paper bag and straw ordinance for a reason, there's no branding reason that justifies this extensive waste of material. Overall it is absolutely mad how poorly designed and run this is. Rant over, this place would not be worth coming to if it wasn't 200 feet away from...
