At first I felt sorry for the batista because she was working by herself. She then got an attitude with customers because they were ordering with the kiosk instead of using the app. When we took our turn, the kiosk locked up and she threw a huge attitude and was even talking under her breath out loud about not listening to her about using the app to order. As orders came up she "barked" out the numbers loudly and if someone didn't immediately come forward she got even more abrupt and barked the number even louder. She then messed up our order and made them iced when they clearly were not marked to be iced. She did remake them, but not without an attitude. No doubt traveling people are not the most pleasant crowds to deal with, and who knows what happened in her world this morning, but she clearly should not be working in the...
Read moreWhile on a layove, I stopped here to grab a cup of coffee. The coffee was just okay, but the cashier brought me to tears...
I pulled my debit card out to pay for my drink, and the cashier noticed my bank (which is affiliated with military). The cashier asked if I was a veteran, to which I replied, âNo, my father wasâ. She kindly gave me the military discount in his honor. What she didnât know was that I was flying home from saying my final goodbyes, as my father had passed away just morning before. Her gesture touched my shattered heart.
This perfect stranger took a moment to show honor and gratitude to the man I respected most and had just lost. Words can never fully encompass how profound her small gesture was, not can I adequately thank her for giving me such a tender and meaningful gift in an hour of hardship...
Read moreAbsolute worst restaurant experience of my life. After waiting thirty minutes for coffee, we inquired about our order of two coffees we were then berated by the staff for asking about our coffee. They had lost our order ticket, so after proving our receipt, we were then given our coffees and harassed by the staff who unnecessarily turned a minor question about order status into telling us to get out of âherâ store. Not once did we raise our voices but were greeted with aggression. Absolutely uncalled for and over the top. I would also note that she similarly told a woman asking about her bottle of water to leave the store. This staff is clearly taking out their own issues on the customers. At an airport location if a customer had behaved in this way, they wouldâve likely been detained by...
