Absurdly bad customer service. The menu lists a gluten free crust option. As I began placing my order using the touchscreen kiosk, I noticed this option seemed to be missing. After quite a bit of effort, I was finally able to get the attention of an employee. I explained that the gf option was missing. She was very sweet and actually told me that she would personally make my pizza, and to just let her know my order number once I completed the transaction. So, I followed her instructions. About 15 minutes later I was told by another employee that there were no gf crusts available. He turned to another worker who very callously said "NOPE!" when he asked if there were any more gf crusts somewhere. This was particularly jarring since it seemed like this business was ready to take my food allergy seriously. After speaking with 2 other people my transaction was allegedly cancelled (I have my doubts), and I was forced to pay again for the other item I ordered. I was told that I would get a refund in 24-48 hours. With the exception of that single employee who was very nice, every other employee I interacted with seemed extremely put-out to have to deal with me. Never eat here. Especially, if you have a food allergy. For management, the details of this debacle of a transaction are listed on my receipt in the photo.

You have to order on a kiosk that keeps freezing up (2 of the 3 are out of order) and items for purchase are sold out so then you have to track down an employee to do a refund. It’s completely unsanitary. I saw 3-4 cooks preparing food, touching their phones and scratching themselves under their clothes and returning to making pizza with the same gloves. As I waited 25 minutes I never saw anyone change gloves. They cleaned the kitchen with brooms wiping with dirty rags and then right back to making the next pizza. I asked to cancel my order but she said “it’s already made” and wouldn’t do a refund. There is a pile of junk in the back corner that appears to be their what they use as a break room. I finally got my order and was missing the salad dressing. I asked for ranch and she handed it to me. I asked specifically “is this ranch?” and she just nodded and walked away. It didn’t look like ranch so I asked again and she nodded again. It was blue cheese. These employees are careless and have zero customer service skills. Not worth stopping.

The customer service experience is a negative 2. Truly an awful experience. This was the location near gate 13 in ATL. I’m trying to order because it’s my first time there and supervisor and employee arguing by the self-order kiosk. The supervisor says, “back to the office” and leaves the area. There was ONE EMPLOYEE doing the best he could to fulfill so many orders and was visibly overwhelmed. Moments later, the supervisor comes out, sees a plethora of people waiting and instead of helping the young man, she went off to do something else. What a pathetic display of teamwork. Took my food 25 minutes to be handed to me and it wasn’t worth the wait. The pizza taste like DiGornio Frozen Pizza and was not good. A ripoff for $13 for a personal size. The meatball calzone was good. Overall, it was my first and definitely MY LAST time. This place is NOT RECOMMENDED.

I feel compelled to tell others what I saw today. I’d like this to reach the manager. Today I saw one of the most disrespectful exchanges I’ve ever seen between a hospitality service provider and a customer.

The customer, an elderly woman, walks up to one of the staff that was working behind the kitchen around 12:30pm to ask them a question. It looked like the staff was on their way to the back but phone was in hand. When I say the most disrespectful looks, attitude, and impatience towards a customer, believe me I can’t put it in enough words.

The staff rolls their eyes, huffs, and is so bothered by a customer literally just asking to get a spoon and asking for their side salad that they ordered. The staff proceeds to rudely partially hand over what the old lady was asking for and without skipping a beat, walks off without asking the customer if there was anything else needed or whatever. The lady still needed assistance and was forced to walk all the way to the counter to continue her request.

I was already on the fence about eating there but the atmosphere and food selection on the menu was inviting. After witnessing that exchange, I was happy to take my business somewhere else.

Please help your staff understand the minimum requirements of being in the hospitality industry. No one is forcing them to...

Went here with my friend today. While I got Grind House Killer Burgers, my friend got Uncle Maddio’s. Horrible experience and terrible customer service. We ordered at the same time, equal wait time and I got and ate my food with more time to spare before my friend realized the staff hadn’t made his food. He spoke up to politely ask if his pizza was being made. This was when the staff saw his order on a receipt which was sitting unattended. At that point, it became clear nobody wanted to take accountability and all customer service workers were blaming each other and pointing fingers at who they thought should’ve made the pizza. No apology was made to my friend, no responsibility was taken. Nobody jumped up to make the pizza or offer a minimal amount of sincerity or customer service. They clearly did not care. My friend told them he had to catch a flight in 20 minutes and that’s when they put his order in the oven. It still took forever and the staff couldn’t have been any less friendly. Still at no point was “Sorry” said and no apology was made at any time. We ended up leaving and my friend got a refund. The staff member almost seemed mad at us. The customer should be the #1 priority. Highly recommend avoiding Uncle Maddio’s at all costs. The pizza is tiny anyway and very expensive. Go to Grind...
