The hostess was pleasant and seated us soon after we arrived. We sat down and quickly looked at the menu to figure out what we wanted to drink so when the waitress came, we’d be ready. It seemed like we had been sitting there for a while and no waitress came. There were plenty of waitresses walking past our table but not one of them said, “I’ll be right with you” or even acknowledged that we were there. Then a table got seated next to us and their waitress showed up and took their drink and food order and we still didn’t even know who our waitress was. Finally, one of the waitresses that had walked past our table several times came over and asked what she could get us to drink. At that time, we placed our food order and my dad also placed a To Go order. Three of the six of us got the salad bar so we got up and got our food. Normally, I’m still eating my salad bar food when the other food comes. This time, I finished the salad bar food and no main course. A good while later the waitress passed by our table and said she would go check on our food. She came back from the kitchen and continued to service her other tables and didn’t give us an update. The table that got seated after us finished with their meal and left and we still didn’t have our food. Granted, we were a table of 6 and they had 2, but come one. Ten or so minutes go by and she passes our table again and says she will check on our food. Again, she comes out and goes to another table and then turns the opposite direction of our table to walk away. I yelled, “Excuse me” to get her attention. She came over and I asked if we could have an update on how our food was coming along. She said it was my daughter’s buffalo chicken wrap that was holding things up and she had just been in the kitchen yelling at them about it. FINALLY the food came out well after at least a 40 minute wait (also, the restaurant was fairly empty). By this point I am so annoyed at how long we had waited without an explanation, apology, etc. that I didn’t even want to eat. After about 8 minutes we asked for 3 boxes and the check. The waitress looks at my dad and asks if he’d like her to put his To GO order in now. WHAT??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? We are now ready to leave and she HASN’T even put the To Go order in yet. When we were obviously annoyed and said that we no longer wanted the To Go order, she said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were in a hurry” like it was OUR fault. It was an awful experience. It is such a shame because my Dad (the whole reason we went there) loves Eat N’ Park but, due to health issues, doesn’t get the chance to go very often. Our waitress (whose name I will leave out) had not a clue on how to do her job. Please retrain her!!! I will give her name to management if they contact me but will not blast...
Read morewent a couple days ago and one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had at any restaurant unfortunately. first off i ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and they never came. fine, but i ordered soup as my meal and my boyfriend ordered a wrap. my soup came out first when i told my waitress to bring it with the rest of the food. not only that but it was lukewarm almost cold. i couldn’t even ask her to bring me a new one since the waitress did not come back till my boyfriends food was ready. i had also drank my drink within 5 minutes was not offered a refill and my waitress didn’t come back for another 20 minutes. after 30 full minutes since we had seen our waitress my boyfriend took it upon himself to go up to the manager who did not stop by any tables once (but was helping herself to the salad bar) and asked “who do i have to talk to, to get a refill around here” she proceeded to laugh at him and go into the kitchen to “ look” for our girl. she finally came back after 35 full minutes of not being at the table. first off i’m a server and i would honestly get fried or sent home if my performance was that poor. it’s not even like they were busy there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant that weren’t even hers. after all that she finally brought refills but we didn’t even drink them since we were over it and jsit wanted to go home. we asked for the bill and it took her 10 minutes to bring it i was going to pay card so i could at least still tip $5 so that i wasn’t an asshole because even if the service sucks i’m not going to stiff someone who survives off tips. but she did not come back for another 15 minutes so i just left whatever cash i had on me. i tired to speak to a manager but they were no where to be found. i also ordered a takeout quart of soup tonight and it was awful. the noodles were so mushy they melted and it tasted like water honestly. i loved this location before the renovation but now since the reopening it seems like they just have a bunch of untrained 16 years olds and managers who don’t care about the integrity of the business they work for. overall a very disappointing experience and i don’t think i’ll be coming back. just a head up for anyone wanting to go to...
Read moremy husband and I, and our two year old twins, and are 11 and 1/2 month old girls all went to this Eat'n Park a couple days ago. our dinner was fine. we were finishing up and finishing up feeding the kids, then all of a sudden two police officers walked up to us, they said they had gotten a few complaints that we were dozing off and not taking care of our kids. Which keep in mind feeding 3 kids there really isn't any time to stop and close your eyes cuz you are constantly feeding. and not to mention trying to eat yourself while feeding them. as soon as the cop seen us they said we looked wide awake and phine, they wanted to see our IDs. they looked at our IDs and said we were fine continue eating and then left. About two minutes later they come back and said that management said that we needed to pay our bill and leave immediately. our children were not even all the way done eating. we had just ordered dessert and we were told that too bad we were not allowed to have the desert management wanted us out now. we asked why and we were not allowed to be given a reason why. so we paid our Tab and left. we got to the vehicle my husband calls in and talks to the manager, she says that there was multiple complaints about us days in and not taking care of our kids which my husband informed her that the police officer said that we were perfectly fine. She would not give it give us a reason why we had to leave why we couldn't continue to feed our children or what we had done wrong. we had done nothing wrong. we sat quietly or as quiet as 3 Kids 2 and under can be. the other customers around us even had conversations with our twins. Nothing seemed to be wrong. in our opinion our waitress must have had an attitude of some kind, and if you ask us it was nothing but discrimination towards us and our children. it was a bad experience and it was...
