Ichiban Buffet — Restaurant in Collierville

Im a foodie and new to the Colliervielle area so I was very excited to visit this place today for the first time and it’s unfortunate that I was treated horribly while trying to Enjoy dinner with my family . The short Asian lady who I assume is the manager was very rude and had the nerve to come over to my table and insist my toddler be charged for eating off my plate . I didn’t argue with her I just said ok “go on” . I’m not gonna argue over money that I DO have. It’s the fact that she yelled out ,” add child Buffet to ticket “ very unprofessional . Not that serious . Turns out my server (not so much of a server ) FIONA was watching me go back and forth to buffet. I noticed her standing off to side of buffet when I fixed my plate but never thought she was Buffett watching . Lol . She never acknowledged my table and I noticed she was extremely nice to other tables. Not sure what her issue was with me but I’ve never felt so discriminated against. I’m a business owner myself and would never treat customers that way. Food was mediocre and they took forever refilling items. I didn’t even finish plate . I will never support this place again and will make sure everyone I know does the same . And I heard you both laughed at my note on receipt but guess what I had the last laugh because I got something free after all. HAHA! You thought you did something . Oh and the restrooms were filthy . Let me first start with that my family and I came to this location around 7 PM tonight. 2 hours before this location is scheduled to close. The buffet was very limited to what I am use too. What was on their buffet was cold and old. My two little ones always love to eat pizza from the buffet, but it was also cold and chewy. We dined in this establishment for an hour and the 2 little slices of pizza that I left when I got my kids food at 7 PM was still there when we left at 8 PM. Who knows how long that food was really sitting on the buffet so needless to say I will not be returning to this location ever. I really think what broke the camel's back was when I was paying to leave and the lady gave me my credit card slip to sign she noticed that I didn't leave a tip. She asked if I had a problem with the service and I told it was ok. Then she proceeded to point her finger at the tip line. That was crazy. She really need to think how her place...

Unfortunately we will not return here after what I witnessed this past weekend. First weekend in Jan 2023. As I was washing my hands in the restroom, a young waitress with a long ponytail was in the woman's restroom wearing black gloves. She opened the door, walked over to the sink and rinsed something off of her gloves with water, no soap used. She then proceeded out of the restroom opening the door with the same gloves on. I followed her out to witness her go straight over to tables and ask guests if they would like a refill. She then proceeded to refill patrons drinks with these nasty restroom gloves on. When I returned to my table, I told my husband not to request a refill as he normally has at least two. This is unacceptable and should be corrected immediately or reviewed by the health department. We're saddened to not be returning as this is a restaurant we go to...
