The Best Bánh Mì in Tennessee – 5/5 Stars!
I recently made the hour-long drive from Jackson to Collierville just to try this Vietnamese spot, and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth every mile! Without a doubt, this is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Tennessee, especially the Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt—it was the star of the show!
The bread had the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and chewy on the inside, and the filling was simply fantastic. The pork was tender and flavorful, the fresh herbs were vibrant, and the pickled vegetables added just the right amount of tang. Every bite was a delicious balance of textures and flavors, and I honestly can’t get over how good it was. You have to get their Mayo and Pate! I’ve had many bánh mì sandwiches before, but this one was on another level!
The Pho was also incredible—the broth was rich, savory, and packed with flavor, with fresh herbs and tender meat that made it a bowl of comfort. But honestly, the bánh mì was what sealed the deal for me. I’ll be dreaming about it for weeks!
The service was just as amazing as the food. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and they made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in. Their kindness really elevated the entire experience.
Without a doubt, this place gets a 5/5 stars from me. I’m already planning my next trip back! If you’re anywhere near Collierville—or even if you’re not—this spot is a must-visit for authentic...
Read moreOverall, it is a good Vietnamese fast food restaurant. We ordered the special combo Vietnamese sandwich B1 and the pho Dac biet. The surprise that the Vietnamese sandwich brings us exceeds what the pho brings us. The Vietnamese sandwich combines the French Baguette and the pork BBQ and ham with a smooth flavor with no too much sauce. The pickled white radish is a great side to the sandwich. The French Baguette 🥖 is pretty awesome. The pho includes the rare steak and the beef meatball in broth. We prefer the beef meatball compared with the rare steak since the boiled beef steak is a bit dry. However, the meatball is chewy with the fresh beef tendon. I expect to see more flavors of the Vietnamese pho such as the beef oxtail pho and the stir-fry beef noodle soup!
By the way, there are lots of parking spots in front of the restaurant, the outside dine-in options are available, and the bathrooms are clean. I take off 2 starts in the service is that I don’t think it makes sense for us to customize the tip before we pay. Because we pay before we really enjoy the service of the waiter service, and we need to get the plates on our own, and we ask for water several times before...
Read moreI’ve been to this spot at least 5 times in the past two weeks! I will say I’m in love with their tea selection! They have really great tea here. So 5 stars for the tea! I have yet to try the desert but I will on my next visit. On to the food! First trip I got the shredded chicken sandwich. It was ok but nothing spectacular! Seemed like it was missing something. Second trip I got the chicken Pho & my daughter had the shredded chicken croissant. The croissant was ok! It does have a semi sweet glaze on it which I liked but my daughter didn’t care for it. My Pho was pretty decent but I was hoping it would be more flavorful. Third trip I had the original Korean corn dog which was pretty good! However on my very last trip I got the hot Cheeto corn dog & I wasn’t a fan of that one. It was pretty greasy & the breading was a bit too thick for me! Overall I like this place & they have a return customer for sure even if it’s just for the tea selection!...
