The staff was great the employees were really really nice very helpful the actual complaint is over there management very poor .I’m a firefighter in town for a convention me and my wife stopped at Academy in CollierVille Tn we were waiting on friends to meet us to go to dinner so we decided to walk around Academy they got great stuff and then who doesn’t like to go into a sports store and walk around while both had our fire jackets on super fluorescent let me remind you of that and I guess they decided to put the manager and have her follow us around as she is with the police supposedly doing a theft prevention no idea what she was doing so we walk out she passes out and stares us down and turns around like oh no wait we weren’t doing anything she stopped what she was doing just to follow us and Asterix easy ma’am is there a reason you’re following us and she proceeds to tell me that there was nothing she was looking outside and I must be paranoid who tells a customer they’re paranoid so well I did not appreciate that and anybody that’s going to steal something with a fluorescent jacket on let alone a fire jacket must be out of their mind bunch of mumbo-jumbo Management super poor definitely on educated on ethical and probably should go...

SHOUT OUT TO ACADEMY SPORTS + OUTDOORS IN COLLIERVILLE AND TO THEIR EMPLOYEES DEBBIE, KAGAN AND PAUL 🙂 I visited after church today and was happy they were not busy at the time. I went to treat myself to an early birthday gift since my birthday is next month. I went to look at sneakers, workout gear, and firearms. As soon as I walked in I saw their employee Debbie who is always fun to talk to for I love her visits to our Kroger store on Byhalia some morning before her work shift. I was happy to see her doggie board up front and to see my photo with my friend's Great Dane on it. That made me smile. When I went to look at their firearm selection, Kagan and Paul were so helpful and gave me great customer service. Those guys knew their stuff and made me feel welcomed. I am so happy with my new pre birthday purchases to myself and love going places that give Great customer service like me. I definitely plan on visiting again soon, for its more things I would like to get since I have started back on my healthy journey. I go here once a year to get shoes. They are the most affordable and well stocked on the perticular shoe ive been buying for 5 years. This particular time i had a tall thin woman with long hair in the shoe dept and i had a pair of shoes to pick up and after some issues and smart comments i got the shoes. After i asked to see the manager. I wanted to say how wonderful the worker who i spoke to on the lhone who helped me find the shoes which were missing. She called me back about 10 minutes later saying she found them and they were set in a different department. Talk aboit going above and beyond. She walked the store and found where they had been set down. And i wanted to just twll the manager how nice it was to have someone go above and beyond like that for me. Yet the long haired tall shoe cherk at night wouldnt let me talk to him to say those kind words about the wonderful day worker who helped me. 2 stars for the nasty employee who was jealous i guess and wouldnt let me show gratitude to the manager for his excellent employee who helped me. I give the store a 5 star rating and at checkout ia havent had any...
