I recently had the worst experience I've ever had in any sort of establishment that serves food. I went in with high hopes with my fiancée to be greeted by an employee with his neck down, face buried in a phone. Not the worst thing that happened- not even close. I say hello and we're greeted with mumbling- completely incomprehensible. When we were looking at the menu he talks about how complicated it all was, and when asked for a recommendation, he names something not even on the menu. This employee (sadly did not get his name) was a large guy with long black hair, I think hispanic. I then quietly speak with my fiancé and tell her what I want. The employee obviously hears me and puts it in on the register. We both saw this. I then still order loudly while looking at him, and then she orders- even with a break in between on our orders because she was still thinking about what she wanted. When she gives her name he starts flirting and talking about how pretty her name was, how unique it was. He then will not take his eyes off of her and doesn't look at me once for the rest of the exchange. Along with her name he asks for her number- which I'm not sure if that is even necessary. She of course did not give it to him after this creepy behavior. The card machine does not work and finally after several attempts it works. The register opens and he makes a dumb joke about how we could rob the location if we wanted to while staring at her (still). We go in the corner and wait for our food, both very creeped out. We finally get our food in a bag to go. We leave and realize that I did not receive my order. Only her. I believe this was on purpose in some way and coincides with his perverted behavior. I am disgusted at this form of "customer service" and "hospitality" when an obviously stoned person openly flirts with a customer in the creepiest way ever, ignores me, and does not fulfill my order- only hers.. Very weird. Do not go here if you are a woman by yourself- or even if you're with your fiancée. food we did...
Read moreTo start.... I NEVER leave bad reviews for places. I feel that everyone needs a little grace as to why their day may be going bad, or the food isn't up to par. However..... I went in with my daughter to enjoy a yummy dessert after going out to dinner. We were met with a disgruntled woman who proceeded to get irritated with me on how I was putting my card in for payment and then got upset when her way didn't work, you know bc, I have to insert my card and not tap it which is what I was trying to do in the first place. She then said it would be 10 min. I didn't understand why we needed to wait, but I knew it would be good. After waiting 20 minutes, we got our order. The cobbler was cold and tasted like canned fruit from Walmart, the ice cream on the side tasted like the lowest brand of Walmart ice cream as well. My daughter didn't have the toppings she was supposed to have also. While spending 20 bucks on dessert after spending the same for two meals, I expect more. Honestly, it's not even the low quality of food. It is the horrible attitude of the woman. The other poor, sweet girl, who appeared to be young, was trying her hardest to keep a smile as the disgruntled woman was slinging things across the kitchen window to her (one of those items being toppings we had to drive back for). Props to the young lady who was trying to be positive, but I hope management will talk with whoever the older lady was on the shift at 7:30 pm in Collierville on 10/24. A horrible experience, and we will not be going back due to customer service and food quality. That's a shame because we love our sweets and could have spent a lot of money there. Again, props to the younger girl that was working there. I hope she doesn't let this experience with this woman deter her future work endeavors. And I hope all our tips...
Read moreIt's to be expected to have long wait times at any grand opening, but overall I was disappointed. After standing for an hour just to place my order, once inside, I placed my order and attempted to go to the bathroom, which to my surprise I learned that they only had one bathroom and it was currently being used. I turned around to go back up the hall and there are groups of workers just standing there looking around, meanwhile you have an extremely long line outside, why is it that these people are not doing anything else to help get these orders out. Then the part that really did it for me, I overheard a woman communicating to one of the men (my guess a family member or friend) that she really wanted to try some of the desserts but didn't have time to wait, he then offered to get her what she wanted from the back, without paying for it. Soon the young lady dipped out of the door with her brown bag of delight. The same man, who gave the woman her desserts,, asked me when did I arrive and informed me that he was sorry for my wait, there was nothing he could do but the kitchen was extremely busy getting out orders. Meanwhile the paying customer who has stood for almost two hours, just to receive some instant banana pudding mix with red velvet crumbles on top, the cobbler was ok but not anything I can't do myself, the only thing worth it was the cobbler stuffed cinnamon roll. I would suggest that you give free food to your friends and family in a disclosed location away from...
