Wendy's — Restaurant in Collinsville

Listen, the restaurant is great. Looks fine, staff is friendly, yadda yadda. They are having a staffing crisis of some sorts. I've gone there twice this week (Saturday and Wednesday today) and both times they were understaffed.

Today, they had three employees. I and my group were front of the lobby's line. There were five customers behind us. We got there at noon. As we waited for our orders to be taken (there is no one in front of us) we watched as doordashers kept coming in.

During our 40 minute wait, about five sepearate doordashers and mobile pick-ups came in. Only one got his food that I saw. Another two left emptyhanded.

The workers were struggling to keep up with the drive-thru line, which had slowly begun creeping out if the parking lot from its length.

After 40 minutes, I repeat, 40 minutes of waiting with no signs that our orders would even be taken, we left and walked to the nearby Taco Bell, where we received our food within 10 minutes.

This is not the employee's fault.

They had three workers, one of which was a store manager (I assume), and all of which were extremely busy trying to keep up. The store ahould have the ability to close down and refuse to take online or mobile orders. They might've been able to handle the inperson lunch rush if they could've rejected orders.

They need to change the 'We're hiring' sign to 'Please help us' or 'Don't...

Came through the drive thru around 4:20pm on 9/24/2025 the person at the window as very rude. Myself and my family are pescatarians and started eating meat a short while ago so never order burgers. I asked the lady what was on a jr deluxe for my children as there was no picture and she “Tay” (Not sure if this is her name as the receipt was faded but it starts with an S) said it comes with everything. I said what does everything include as my children are picky. I ask did it include onions? Since it was such a problem to explain to me what was on a burger. There were no cars behind me and no one in the parking lot. She responded again very irritated and loudly EVERYTHING.. I explained to here we don’t eat burger so could she tell me what was on the burger. Long story short I drove around to the window she lied and said it wasn’t her taking my order and someone else did it after she realized I had a problem with her rudeness. I asked for her managers name, didn’t get that either. She had dreads and tattoos on her fingers. I just don’t understand the reason for the nastiness to me. If I was a white women spending my money in this area she would have served me with a smile. This is highly unacceptable and I would like to speak to...

Recently, I read a Review about America's brand of Chilli. And the many different types of Chilli across America's Globe..And the taster definitely had America's Chilli which is, Wendys of course. On his personal best Chilli's list. But, he listed Wendy's as Number six, (Not!), Wrong! Wrong! Listen Up! We get Wendy's Chilli, when we don't want to Prepare our own personal Chilli..
