People often write 2 types of reviews; Excellent and Near Death Experience. This is the latter. Hence, lesson learned; why did I even bother; and utterly disappointed are what I felt when I received my Poke Bowl from Poke Bowl. When Poke Bowl opened several years ago, they were our go-to choice when we crave for poke. Sadly, their quality and quantity have dropped, if not entirely, then almost entirely. Poke size should be bite size, and quality should be fresh because, essentially, it is Raw Fish. I ordered the large bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, scallop, hamachi, seaweed salad, scallions, onions, avocado, edamame, kimchi, Wasabi and ginger. However, the presentation of the dish wasn't very appetizing or even appealing, and worst of all, it looked like a hot mess that was meant to hide the inadequacy of the main ingredients of a Poke Bowl. I was so disappointed that I had to dismantle the Poke Bowl to see why and how does it looked like that, and what I found left me speechless. I guess Poke Bowl essentially is where you would go if there's a big discount to get a poke bowl, but for what I paid, it would have been better to go to Costco, buy a slab of salmon and tuna and make your own. (The photo is the...

I frequent this place because it is nearby and is one of the few places still open later at night past 9pm when I am off work. I like that there is a good balance between the ingredients, and the salmon always tastes fine. I recommend large because that is enough food for 2 meals, so you get a much better deal for a few dollars more. It's also really nice to be able to use the paper to choose your order, that way there is no anxiety about taking too long to order or holding up a line. I've never even seen a line here, maybe because I come late night. There's always an empty parking spot or multiple spots right in front, so it's super quick too. I think it's because of how quickly the staff makes the bowls and from how you order by writing on paper, so nobody has to wait long. The staff always seem pretty nice, friendly, and patient. So in my frequent times here, I've never had a...

Found this little shop tucked in between two larger chains on a trip recently, and I'm glad I went! When I arrived around 12:30, there was no wait to order. The menu is simple, with a great selection of flavor combinations and options to choose from. I highly recommend the kelp noodle for its extraordinarily Great Crunchy Texture and the Seaweed Salad! The shop did not mess around and served up large portions of everything I asked for: the lid was clinging onto the container for dear life! That was just fine by me, as it didn't last long. I would have gotten pictures, but the food was so inviting. Y'all This place smelled SOOO GOOD. The fellow at the counter was super friendly, responded to questions, and chatted awhile about how my trip was going. Great atmosphere, pricing, and variety! I am looking forward to the next time I can return to Colma to try another...

Ordered via Uber Eats. Was really craving for a good poke bowl but unfortunately this one upset my stomach pretty bad. Another thing that bothered me was the rude note they left with my order. I'm pretty sure I ordered 15 minutes before closing and it was only a small order. If the servers did not want to accommodate orders near their closing, they should have published an earlier closing time. It really shows unprofessional service. I am in the service industry as well and I know the frustration when someone makes a last minute order. Nevertheless I know that they are still within their right to order within the published hours and we still maintain courteousness when serving them.

This is a prime example of someone taking hawaiian food and calling it "fresh" to promote a lie. They added a nice asian twist to a "poke bowl" but the fish here is pre frozen pre cut. How do I know? I watched their delivery go right by us while waiting for the food. Pre-cut frozen tuna boxes frozen hamachi, crab, and god knows what. I know sources are limited in the city but if you are going to label your food "fresh" than by all means pay for it! Im from hawaii, I am a born native hawaiian and places like "foodland" would blow this place away like a tropical breeze. Sorry poke bowl but you haven't figured it out yet
