I’m new to the area and I love boba. But yet I’m picky about my boba. So I seen this little place it is literally a hole in the wall which if you ask me the best places are usually little holes in the walls. I decided to finally look it up online one day and Omgosh the menu is insane. There is so many different options to choose from. I’ve never been to a boba place before where I had so many different options. I finally gave it a try and went to this place and it is soooo CUTE. It felt cozy and comfortable to me. Not like sofas but it just felt so at home and it was so cute and everyone was so nice and helpful. I tried their strawberry milk tea with regular white boba the first time and it was amazing. This was very new to me bc the only milk tea and boba I had ever had was regular brown sugar Boba milk tea. Strawberry sounded more fruity and a fruit I defiantly likes so I went for it and I’m so glad I did bc now it is my new FAV. I absolutely LOVE strawberry milk tea. I’m sure all the others are just as good and all their bobs are so good as well. I’m still going down my list of drinks I put together with the bobas to try them all. But honestly there is so many that it might take me half a year to a whole year to try every option there is possible if I were to get a new drink each day. Not to mention that this cute little friendly place has adorable boba plushies on their back wall for sale. They are absolutely to die for. I honestly want all of them hehe. As for their food I have not tried it yet but I’m am sure that it is just as great as everything else is here. By far the best boba place I’ve ever tried in...
Read moreMy review is strictly about the Labubu purchase, not the food. The business advertises that they sell Labubus and Lafufus. I made it clear I was only interested in authentic Labubus and was told they were $60. The price wasn’t the issue.
When I got home and unboxed the figures with my daughter, I immediately realized they were fake. I scanned the QR code and it led to a site that closely resembled Popmart’s authentication page, but with a small error popmait instead of popmart. I also noticed poor stitching, which was another red flag.
I returned the items and received a full refund. The young man asked how I knew they were fake and when I explained how I knew they were fake, he then admitted he’d bought them from someone on Facebook Marketplace. In my opinion, if you’re going to sell collectible items at double the retail price, you should at least verify their authenticity first.
This store is connected to the Kawaii shop in Citadel Mall, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re selling fakes there too. Just be careful and do your own checking...
Read moreWent in to get boba and the drink tasted so bad I couldn't drink it. The guy there was super nice and offered to remake and it tasted the same. It's either bad water or the instant powder they used to make the Vientnamese coffee boba (which is supposedly a house special). Also ordered custard buns only to be informed that they are mixed with red bean paste buns and there's no way to tell the difference, contrary to what the menu says, I could have ordered custard and gotten all red bean...like how? I was like ok just give me the funnel cake fries and they were out of them. I just gave up and went to Kung Fu tea where I pasi $5 for the same drink they chatged me $11 for but this time it wasbt made from chemical tasting powder and old foam (literally they were all smelling them to check).
Last thing, one of the employees took my boba straw outnof the drink that was bad put her own in, proceeded to drink it and tell the guy who was making it that it tasted fine. Super...
