I walked into this store 10 minutes before closing. Nobody at the front register to help me. Chris comes out from the back to take my order. I told him my phone number to look me up to see what my loyalty points would possibly get me today. He refused to type my phone number in the computer. I asked him a total of 3 times to type in my phone number. He told me he wants my order first. I said no, the person near you always types in my phone number when I ask for my loyalty points first. I want to know what I've earned first so I know what I want to order. He kept refusing to take my phone number. I told him if he was going to cause drama and be difficult just have the person next to him take my order because he always has excellent customer service. He refused to allow the person next to him to take my order and he refused to take my phone number for my loyalty points. DISTRICT MANAGER- YOU HAVE A VERY COMBATIVE, CONFRONTATIONAL PERSON WORKING FOR YOUR COMPANY. I asked him his role in this company. He said he's the general manager. I asked him his name, and he said Chris, and his name tag said Chris. He's absolutely horrible with the general public. If Chris is actually truly your general manager of that store YOU'RE IN BIG TROUBLE BECAUSE HE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I HAVE NEVER IM MY LIFE HAD AN EMPLOYEE REFUSE TO LOOK UP MY LOYALTY POINTS. You have an employee that is a control freak and that's not good for Einstein Bagels. If I could give a ZERO I would. UPDATE: I show up a few days later to the Einstein Bagel off of Powers. I ask Elly if she could take my phone number first to see my loyalty points, and she instantly gladly took my phone number and showed me on my screen my loyalty points. She had amazing customer service throughout the entire process. I asked her if I could speak to this stores general manager. I then told the general manager my story about the Woodmen store. I told her I wasn't buying the fact that he said his name was Chris and he stated he was the general manager of the Woodmen store. She then tells me the general manager at the Woodmen store is actually Steve. So here's one of two scenarios. Either Steve gave me a fake name and was wearing someone else's name badge that stated Chris right on it, or there is a Chris that works there and he lied straight to my face saying he was indeed the general manager of the Woodmen store when I asked him his role. Regardless, both scenarios are not good. I would like some answers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never really written a review before, but Iām so upset after ordering from this location today. I ordered curbside ahead on the app, checked in when I got there, and then waited about 20 minutes. I know theyāre short staffed, so I was trying to be understanding. I just ordered 2 bagels and a coffee and was coming back from a hike with dog, so she was in the car with me too. I decided to call them and just make sure they knew I was here and the lady (I think her name was Alyssa) said itād be right out. I was polite on the phone and trying to be patient but I was getting a little frustrated. After another 15 minutes or so I decided to call again and then again they said itād be right out, which this time they did come out in the next minute or so. I opened up the bagel in my car because I was super hungry but then I saw there wasnāt any cream cheese that I ordered. I felt so bad but I called again to ask for a side of cream cheese and the lady was hesitant but said they could leave some on the counter. I told her I have my dog with me, and sheāll jump out of the car when I do so I canāt really come in. She said theyāre short staffed and canāt bring it out, which I said Iām sorry but I canāt come in either unless I can bring my dog in for a second because sheāll jump out of the car when the door opens, but I can wait for them to get caught up on some orders before bringing it out. She hung up on me after that! I get it theyāre short staffed and lots of businesses are struggling right now but I donāt think itās right that I wait 45 minutes for curbside pickup, get the wrong order, and have the staff be pretty rude :( Normally Einsteinās is great but I would recommend a...
Read moreMan, I used to love this place⦠not only has the location gone down hill but Einstein all together just continues to devolve.
The service is borderline unacceptable (so rude) and any menu changes they make never benefit the customer.
Iām not sure Iāve ever unwrapped my food and went back to discuss as I was perplexed with what I received versus what I was expecting. I would have been happier to have unwrapped my order to find a giant middle finger peering back at me.
Today I purchased āThe Big Burritoā where the term āBigā is apparently only referencing the price ($6.99). I am not even kidding you, this tiny, cheap burrito can be purchased countless other places for a dollar or two⦠I sat there for a second certain there was a mistakeā¦
I was genuinely confused and when I spoke to the staff, was told āI know everyoneās upset. You should complain to corporate.ā
I scratched my head at not only their response but the experience as a wholeā¦
I know how bad a negative review can be and am not even sure Iāve left any others but Einstein has gone too farā¦
The corporation should be ashamed of themselves for what theyāve allowed a once awesome place to become.
What a bummer and at this point, out of principal, I wonāt be back. This is probably the 5th visit in a row that was a disappointment.
We know times are challenging⦠robbing and disrespecting your customers Iām not sure will be an effective strategy to improve thingsā¦
Are you trying to fail?⦠Iām...
