Ordering online....You can get a group order going where everyone can setup their own order....send the order through the internet then at the time you specified go pick it up from the second counter. Very fast, easy and effective......UNTIL they get your order wrong.
Today, (11/5/2014), I placed an order online through their website with my group. I went to pick it up was told they are back ordered on pickles, had a slight wait but all out quick and easy.
I get back to my office to enjoy this lovely bun-less burger bowl with an extra patty and plethora of toppings....until...I only see one patty and the toppings have been better before. It was still delicious nonetheless.
I called to inform them of the issue as I paid for an extra patty. I spoke with a male who really didn't have a clue what he should do, he even stated well you can come back to pick the patty up, or maybe get a discount on another meal then I heard him talking to his manager who then came on the phone. Carmen, how do I tell you, your presentation was terrible.
Carmen proceeded to tell me that she made my order and she knows she put 3 patties. I said no ma'am you didn't, you only put one and I took picture of it before I ate it.
Carmen if you would have checked your facts before you spoke you would have known that I only needed 2 patties. Carmen, please check your work before you send it off. This should go without saying.
Any way, I won't be coming back here because of this incident. I usually drive there for my group to pick up lunch....that won't be happening anymore 5 guys.
You might have good burgers, but I can get a good burger anywhere your customer service stinks and maybe you should look into revamping this. I know you tried to reach out but failed miserably in responding to me... Still...
Read moreI have celiacs and this is one of the few places I feel comfortable enough to eat out at. I usually have no problems but when I eat there and this one manager is on duty she is always rude and snarky when I ask that my fries be bagged separate from my families food. Not sure why she makes an issue of it for the price we are paying but both times now she feels she has to make an announcement of “she thinks she will get sick”. Very rude, and makes the whole situation uncomfortable. If she is not working I have no problems there. I won’t be returning to this one for that reason alone. Maybe she just thinks I’m on a fad diet or is just uneducated as far as celiacs and allergies go. I left there nervous today as I did the last time she was working when I was in there, not sure why she feels the need to be so smug but if you have allergies or celiacs I’m not sure you can trust this 5 guys. My son did call what I believe was the GM and he was very nice and helpful in trying to help us. Hopefully he can educate this lady on health problems as well as how you act as a manager that is representing...
Read moreI went here not too long ago and I will not go back ever again and here’s why. I’m lactose intolerant so I cannot have cheese. I asked for a bacon burger (which has no cheese, other wise I would have asked for a bacon cheese burger) without no cheese, just to make sure they got the hint. When I got my burger it had cheese on it, so I walked to the front and told them, hey I asked for a bacon burger without cheese and you gave me cheese anyway. They looked at my with a confused face, and the girl who took my order said that I asked for a back cheese burger and that if I didn’t want cheese that I needed to say that. She blamed it on me and almost didn’t remake my burger. Till I told her I was lactose intolerant, then she had no problem with remaking it. So just so you know I could of taken further actions and decided to be nicer than that. So the girl with an accent needs to be talked to about this situation.
