Very cool, very Colorado coffee house. An agreeable mix of unfinished (intentionally) construction with fixtures out of a warehouse. Tasteful decorations blend well with the raw building materials used as shelves and part of the front counter.
The coffee bar itself is modest but the equipment isn’t something people would pay to have in their basements. The baristas greeted a few locals with memorized orders—a very nice personal touch for those who like to frequent the establishment often.
The seating was spacious—more so than just about any Starbucks anywhere and plenty of workspace if you’re here to finish your novel, screen play, or presentation for the office.
The cappuccino was beautiful and the froth was extremely fluffy. The blend they used for it was mellow but also hit like a punch to the face. This was better than any cappuccino I’ve had at any of the chain places.
No drive through so don’t come if you’re in a hurry. Being in a rush would kind of ruin the vibe of the place some plan to spend a few minutes. This place is fantastic and worth the trip despite being in a less-than-spectacular location. They’ll be here for a while if they continue to stick to their...
Read moreas far as coffee shops go…i give it a solid meh. the coffee is a bit over priced and the layout of the place is just awkward. they had many different rooms for seating and a lot of walls. it was almost like a maze. i didn’t know where to go. i will say the barista was very welcoming and soft. she greeted me in and gave me time to order. i was hoping for more food/pastry options as i was coming here for breakfast, but they didn’t have a wide variety of pastries and all of their “meal” items were 10 dollars. i ordered a cappuccino for 4.25 instead and the barista came over to my table to serve it to me (which i’ve never had happen to me at a coffee shop and thought very sweet). she made a pretty design on the top too. you can leave your dishes out on the table and they will pick them up for you. the view is okay. from the reviews, i thought it was going to be a bit better, but you can pretty much only see the mountain from one location of the shop. the seating is also really uncomfortable. i’m glad i tried it, though. now i know...
Read moreFirst time in the Springs and Peak Place is the first stop. I absolutely love everything about the place. The service, the food, the coffee, and the vibe! Places like these are rare, where everything just hits the spot.
They have a limited menu but it sounds so good. We got the bagel with olive oil and scallions cream cheese. and the breakfast tacos -- better than I expected. Lot of toppings brings a lot of flavor with every bite. Also got a hot latte with hazelnut, and they drew the pretty heart design of course. :) and my other half got americano.
Barista was super nice and patient and helped me decide what to get. The vibe in here is everything. First, you have a gorgeous clear view of the mountains. It's quiet enough to come work or take a nap here. There is a couch and some cozy seats. Very soft music. There's also a private room if you really need to be away from all the happenings-- although it's not loud in here in general. We came on a Saturday around 11am. I definitely recommend and...
