Discusting!!!! First time to any Jersey Mike's location and definitely the last. Ordered 2 sandwiches and a wrap, all as value meals. The girl behind the counter made one of the sandwiches incorrectly, simply added pepper, but once we corrected her, she literally tried scraping the pepper off the toppings then placed them back on the sandwich. Really? Should've put new toppings on, if not, make a whole new sandwich. Second, after putting an overwhelming amount of lettuce on the 2 sandwiches, enough that an ample amount fell onto the counter, she scooped it back up, put it back in the lettuce container, which then in turn, ended up on the wrap. Is Jersey Mikes not able to cover that expense? In addition to having recycled lettuce placed on the wrap, had to go back and tell her what the menu called for, it comes with a certain sauce, add it. Pretty simple. To top it all off, all items were made directly on the counter top, nothing separating the two. I'm not sure if this is a common practice, but all other sub shops, at a minimum, place a piece of wrapping paper on the counter top before fixing the items ordered. Remind you, we ordered the meal deals, after the bill was paid, we had to get her back to the register so we could get cups. It was roughly 7-730 pm. Her excuse for making numerous mistakes was she had been there since 1130. I guess an 8 hour shift was too taxing on her. Recommend Firehouse Subs over this place any day of the week. Or even going to Wal-Mart, buying a loaf of bread, peanut butter and Jelly then make your...
Read moreI have purposely avoided this Jersey Mike's for about a year now: They are the closest location to where I live but the worst one in town. The employees do not treat people well, the food quality/quantity is cheap and measured carefully so that you get less food on the sandwich and this location doesn't give refunds-period-NO MATTER WHAT. (Last time I was here, 3 teen girls were working and I ordered a reg. sub but they looked distracted/not paying attention and she started making a giant sub. I just assumed it was someone else's sub since they were making 2 or 3 different subs including a giant sub of the kind I ordered-until they said "what toppings do you want on it?" and I was shocked they got that wrong, and they did not take responsibility for the mistake. The "new sandwich" was then made incorrectly on the wrong type of bread that was also stale/old. I had to say it again that I want a REGULAR sub on white bread, not on wheat bread. The girls laughed and talked and weren't really paying attention the entire time. Once I finally sat down to eat, they started talking even more and started blasting LOUD rap music for the whole store to hear-to where you couldn't even talk or hear other people over it. This is not even all that went wrong THIS SPECIFIC time, but I don't want to make the review too long.) I will go out of my way to go to ANY other location but my favorite one in town is off of Woodmen Rd. where I am always treated with great customer service, excellent food with normal portions and it's a great...
Read moreI enjoy jersey mikes, I really do, but this location makes me want to stop coming. Every single time I come in to this store, the guy which I’m assuming is the manager as he’s there every single time I come in, has a MASSIVE attitude. I’ve never seen someone be so disrespectful every. Single. Time. I come in. There is not a single instance where this store has had an attitude problem towards their customers. None of them act like they actually want to be there (understandably so sometimes, but don’t treat your customers that badly). The manager really needs an attitude check. Today he asked me “Are you going to order?” In a hostile tone rather than asking me what I would’ve liked. I’ve had instances where I needed to order multiple subs and instead of asking me if I wanted anything other than the one sub he would ask the next person in line causing me to wait for him to start checking me out to say “ you can check the next guy out, I needed another sub.” I don’t like verbally confronting someone at their workplace, but I’m really tired of this behavior from this guy. I’ve watched him disciple lower employees in an extremely unprofessional way to the point of getting within an inch of a young woman’s face, and yelling at her for not being fast enough on the makeline. When he makes orders he’s throwing the product and slamming things. Even today he quite literally slammed the bread knife on the counter for his coworker. Please do something...
