I like the food here, but the service has been unacceptable in multiple instances and it’s gotten to the point I’m deleting the app and choosing other sandwich shops. On multiple occasions I’ll order 2 sandwiches and a drink for my partner and I to have for our 1 hour lunch break. I place these orders by 11:20 at the latest, I try to aim for 11. Today for example, my order was received at 11:19, and the app said it was out for delivery at 11:50. This is fine, and since I’m less than 5 minutes away from the store, I figured it would arrive in 15-20 minutes. While I’m writing this my food still hasn’t been delivered at 12:37. I only get an hour to eat, and now I don’t get lunch with my husband at all. I called up to the store, as I’ve done before when my orders take 30-40 minutes to deliver, and the store associate said the driver was on campus and would be there ‘any second’. I waited outside for 10 minutes since it can be a little confusing to find my building and didn’t see any cars with the JJ sign. On another day I placed an order and called after waiting an hour and the store said they didn’t have any drivers. No one called to communicate this to me, so I asked to cancel my order and get a refund. The worker said they would put me on hold to get a manager. After 15 minutes of being on hold I decided to drive down to the store while on hold to see what was happening. I walked into the store and asked to speak with a manager and asked why I was still on hold 25 minutes later, and showed them my phone. They said they didn’t have anyone on hold, even though when I hung up and called back, the restaurant phone rang. I then got my refund. Overall I’ve been really disappointed and kept trying again hoping that service would improve, but I’m not going to wait for it to get better anymore. I called the location I ordered from and they very rudely assured me it was not ordered at their location and wouldn’t even take my information to check. I rechecked my order and the app location settings auto loaded my neighbors address but I had indeed ordered from that location. I called back and had to fight with the person on the phone just to get him to look up the order. After he looked it up he confirmed I had ordered from them but it was sent to the wrong address as I was trying to inform him. He told me the driver rang the door bell and texted and called me. I rechecked the app to make sure the right phone number was enter and it was the correct number so the driver never called me as I was told. All this would of just been a simple app failure and my failure to re-check the address but the rudeness of the jimmy Jon’s employee on the phone left me so uncomfortable that I didn’t trust the food they resent to me. The driver apologized on delivery but the person on the phone made me feel sick to my stomach and someone who is that rude on the phone would definitely spit in your sandwich. I would suggest eating anywhere else. Worst service experience ever! Call Jimmy John’s if you want to feel so disrespected that you don’t trust the food they serve. They are always late, like 30 minutes late when I work a 2 blocks down the street. I get the same excuse and after complaining I was told I be sent 2 coupons for two free sandwiches, and I still have not received them in the mail. When the driver is late I call and talk to the manager, and he tells me the same excuse for his drivers. I went by Yesterday to see how many drivers they actually have and they have 8 vehicles parked outside and this was at noon yesterday.
