Juneteenth festival at panorama park;the older lady with the dark glasses and lopsided wig working the sample area tried to deny us a sample. It was the weirdest experience, probably of my life being an interracial couple. The lady was so nasty. She wanted to serve everybody, but my husband, myself and my baby (2yrs)the baby has the fork in his hand and she's denying him a plate and rather giving it him wanting to give it to anybody else but us ....and then I told her it's a shame that you're doing this on purpose all because my husband is white She laughed. No one should have to wait for everyone around us to look around and wonder why this woman is treating me and my family like this for the people around to move out of the way while watching this woman's nasty behavior? To have this woman representing a company is ridiculous and beyond me shame on little Howard for bringing this hate to a Juneteenth festival. And as a business all while After we purchased plates of food. Disgusted at this behavior, all in all macaroni and cheese okay, greens could use a little bit of flavor. Ribs were good but Not fully cooked. Maybe I am biased now. Maybe I would like the food better if I had a better experience feeling welcomed and not denied food, at one point she was looking to give anyone else a dample experiment my son and I. shame on this company for bringing this woman to this event as representation of the black community I'm a black woman myself and never ever would I deny, a child food all because of his father's white? The food is pretty good, and the employees are nice, but I didn’t get my peach cobbler ($4) that I paid for. Mistakes happen but they almost forgot one of my plates ($14 brisket & $16 catfish) too. I called about it, left a voicemail, and never got a phone call back. Money down the drain for me. That’s disappointing because I was considering having them cater my sons first birthday. I also got sodas and tipped. I love supporting Black owned businesses, but Black owned or not I will be transparent. I had a sweet tooth for the peach cobbler. I work for Amazon Graveyards. I decided to treat myself and buy a nice meal. Ordered my food for pick up from my cafeteria room. Prepaid and all. Fairly disappointed when I arrived to the break room and found no Lil Howard’s BBQ waiting. If you say you’re going to be somewhere, keep your word. Many employees were hoping to eat some of your brisket/pork sandwiches and left disappointed and fend for alternate meals. Not very easy since Amazon warehouse is fare from anything. I would not recommend them for your catering need. They might take your money and leave...
