Learn moreEdit: Right after I leave this review raving review, I got some of the worst food I have ever received in all my orders. I don't know who was in the kitchen or what happened but this is not good. And the luster is lost from 100% consistency. Very disappointed Thai Fried Rice - flavorless. No spice at all. Salt and pepper tofu is not cooked all the way. It was white, not brown and crispy and fried like usual. Bland. 😞. First time for everything. I ordered his is LITERALLY my FAVORITE place in the Springs. I order here at least 3 to 4 times a month. I'm vegan and after a while you'd think I get tired of ordering the same thing. I do not. The food is consistently good. Like.. always good. Be careful with the Level 3 Spice and up, bc if you're a spice cry baby, YOU WILL NOT ENJOY YOUR food, at all. Period. They tell you this upfront, so watch yourself. 😂 Even if you're NOT vegetarian/vegan GET THE SALT AND PEPPER TOFU. It's the best tofu I've ever had and I get it every single time. I get the Tea, too. I asked for coconut milk and the oblige. Some of thee nicest people work inside the restaurant. It's your typical Thai/Chinese food ambience. Please forgive my photos. I started eating + then thought to write the review bc they deserve it. Oh and don't forget to get the vegetarian egg rolls. I think they might be made in house, the outside is crispy and flaky, inside soft and flavorful. They make any accommodations I ask for and don't charge an arm and a leg to do it. I can't say enough good things about this place. The name fits, I'm always eating going Nom Nom Nom. 10s. 10s...
Read moreThis place has 4.8 stars as of this review. It's a good sized restaurant with room to throw in more tables as it gets busier. The service was good as was how quick we received the food. They have gluten free options clearly labeled on the menu, but the server didn't know that Drunken Noodles are made with rice noodles and had to go ask the chef. Oops!
Our problem was the food. I always order the same dishes whenever I get Thai food and I know the flavor varies, but this was by far the worst Thai food I've ever had. Neither the Drunken Noodles, the Pad Thai, or the Basil Fried Rice tasted anything like any other I've tried. We ordered all dishes at Mild heat. The Basil Fried Rice was flavorless with no basil taste and almost inedible levels of spicy. The Drunken Noodles had an overwhelming fishy taste, with high, but edible levels of spice and almost no vegetables to speak of. The Pad Thai was mouth puckeringly sour and completely inedible. We aren't confrontational so we packed up all the food and left. When I got home I was able to stir all three dishes together into one very interesting tasting combination with only the Drunken Noodle portion retaining it's awful flavors and I was able to consume the leftovers, so not...
Read moreClean, open environment that gets busy for a reason. Friendly staff who answer questions and are patient with customers. If you like bland, typical food this place is not for you. Food is made to order and delicious.
I recommend the Salt and Pepper Tofu (actually has a great kick with simple, but amazing flavors), Tongkatsu Ramen, and Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Tongkatsu had flavorful broth and pork slices that melted in your mouth. Tom Yum is a creamy delicious soup with a hint of lemon that was refreshing. We only went with a level 2 on both and it had a good heat that did not take away from the flavor (spice levels offered 1-4). The sake is a lighter alcohol content, but the flavor is amazing. Some sake tastes like dirty water, but this was light and refreshing!
Some people said it was too spicy (I am not sure what heat they are used to because this was spot on). Highly recommended and worth the wait if...
