No idea why or how I’ve waited this long to eat here but so glad I finally did! So close to 5 stars. If it weren’t for that horrible smell upon entering. But that aside, the food, service, drinks and view from the patio are amazing. Our waiter Berto, was prompt, personable, knowledgeable and professional. LOVE how they serve a side of beans with the chips and salsa which were great. We ordered a breakfast burrito with steak and the green chili on the side. The burrito is plentiful, full of flavor from the moment it hits your mouth. The green chili was delicious and I’d leave it atop the burrito next time I order it. The chile rellano was that perfect amount of chile flavor, loaded with melted cheese. The rice and beans both authentic as they come and tasty. The cheese enchiladas was simple but still maintained a satisfying taste. I was able to sample the Chili Colorado and that is definitely on my next order too. Thick chucks of tender beef in a thick, red sauce that boasts so much flavor. Ordered to go: OMG, the Mocha Cake is a must, light, just the right amount of sweet - divine. I’m craving one as I type this. My son enjoyed the Birra Tacos and would order them again. The drinks were on point. The only thing that was a major turnoff is the funky/ foul smell. Resolve that, and you’ve got it made all the way around. Pretty sure this is my new favorite Mexican spot. Try it today it may be yours too!

Excellent we had stopped in it another "authentic" Mexican place and it was just not good. So we daw the reviews and took a chance! No regrets! First off. Very clean restaurant and location. Parking is a bit odd as the lot is essentially a cul-de-sac with only 1 way in or out. It was very much traditional themed and super neat. I loved the donkey out front and good music playing. The staff are so sweet and helpful. Our waitress was really wonderful. Now the food. Salasa was the perfect level of spivey, and the appetizer of bean dip was awesome. HUGE dishes and their Birria tacos definitely leveled with the ones we have gotten in texas!! Sides of rice, beans, and lettuce as well as a cup of lime, cilantro, onions and radishes. And the dishes are large enough to have some to go. But the joy of this place is the deserts. The oreo churros, the cheesecake bites the sopapilla. It put a good end to our day!

Loved the food! They were quick to set up for our large group. The place is really beautiful and the staff are nice. The only reason I gave four stars on the service was because we had a large group and couldn’t split the check. They take your order by hand, so just be aware that when you go with a large group,10+, you will only be allowed up to 3 separate checks. Out of 13 people only one didn’t enjoy the meal they ordered. The portions are huge! Also, be aware that the lunch menu is NOT available on the weekends. Two people in our group thought their meals were only $17 a piece but wound up being $25. That was a “surprise” when the check came. The amount of food they got was enough for 2 or more meals though.

We ordered for pickup and they said 20 minutes. We got there half hour later and waited another 20 minutes. That’s not unexpected for a Friday so I was understanding. They forgot a whole plate so we waited more. The lady(extremely nice) came back with the plate a bit later and said we were good to go and apologized for the delay. We definitely should have checked. Got all the way back home and they gave me a #1 which is $7 cheaper and not what I had ordered and not what I was craving. The food was cold by then and the portions seem to be a lot smaller than what the pictures posted show. Food was decent and the employees were very nice is why I still gave it a 3. Not sure we will try them again but if we do it will...
