Since my below review the management has reached out to thank me for my feedback and they have also upgraded their cups/seals/straws so I haven't had any more issues with leaks. Quality of both services, ambiance, and good/drinks are still as great as ever!

--- original review below ---

This is also a boba shop!

One of my favorite weekly spots recently shut down due to owner family issues, so I was on the hunt for a new spot to relax and enjoy some tea (and donuts if they hit).

In my Google searches for a boba shop this place never showed up! Luckily, my socialite husband struck up a conversation with a stranger one day and it somehow came up that we were trying to find a good boba place. “Voila!”. He recommended Mochi Thai'm Donuts!

I've been there around 8 times now and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and it looks like it's all made right there. Obviously the donuts and various flavorings are... You can watch them make your donuts through the glass. It's a little harder to see all the action behind the scenes for the drinks, but my first try was a strawberry - mango fruit tea and it was delicious. It didn't taste like any artificial flavors had been added at all, and even had some strawberry bits floating around which tells you it's really fresh! They have different types of bobas and I get the impression they are cooked there too. I don't normally get the jellies but decided to try them in one of my drinks and was pleasantly surprised how well it complemented my drink.

Every week I go in and they have a board with new flavors of drinks and donuts to try.

Twice I got a leak in my cup (once at the seal at the top, and the second was an actual slit in the middle of the cup from it bending) so if anything I'd like to see them improve the quality/durability of their cups.

The dining area is both chill and kid friendly. I've never noticed anything dirty so it's kept clean. There's always a slight smell of burning oil which is to be expected because of the fresh donuts they make, and it isn't enough to distract from the experience and taste. However, I'm still wary to fully relax on the couch or reading seat they've set up - or to use any of the playing cards or games they have available. It all looks used enough to make the sanitation questionable. I have to wonder if that space is being wasted now, especially in a post-COVID world where people are more hyper-aware of shared areas. It may be time to consider an upgrade.

Overall I'm very happy with the consistent quality of both friendly service and delicious food/drinks and haven't found another boba shop that can compete in the Springs.

I highly recommend anyone to go try it out. And hopefully the owner reads this and asks Google to update their search results to include then when someone searches for boba, milk tea, etc so that they can start getting more business and implement a few...

Was so excited about this place to only be highly disappointed.

Love the environment they have created. Family friendly, gathering place, hangout place. Got a Thai coffee with boba and that was really good.

Now as far as the donuts - HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. One of our shop wives brought some donuts in earlier to the shop. The guys were raving about them and how good they were. So that night my husband and I decided to date night and try them (because at the shop you got 2 sec to get food or it’s gone 🤣). We ordered their 12 piece to try one of each. We got our order and they were hot so we got super excited and decided we would try one there - very disappointed. The actual donut tasted burnt and was super greasy. The icing on top was too sweet on top of that they iced them too soon so now icing is just melting off the donut. The thought was let’s let them sit up for a little and go from there. This morning got up to try again and still just such a let down.

I was really wanting this place to be a win since I LOVE MOCHI DONUTS!! And I hope that maybe the owner can get this place consistent. I would love to give them another try but hard when it cost us $45 for 12 donuts and 2 drinks that I had to throw away 10 of those donuts....

Wow! Wow! Wow! Mochi Thai’m Donuts truly delivered on the promise of being delicious, with an explosion of flavor and a delightful “mouthfeel”—a term I normally reserve for fine wine! I experienced my first “fresh from the fryer” donuts today at their grand opening, and I was blown away by how these treats melted in my mouth. While I expected them to taste good, like a typical donut, these donuts exceeded all of my expectations by a landslide! My husband and I ordered three—lemon glaze, raspberry glaze, and salted caramel—and each flavor was as intriguing and appealing as the one preceding it. The fact that they are shaped in 8 little balls makes them perfect for pulling apart and sharing, which covered my fingers in each of the glazes. Normally, I have much better manners than what I put on display inside the shop, but I could not resist licking the glazes off my fingers. I do think it’s important to enjoy them while they’re hot and fresh! After this experience eating Mochi Thai’m donuts, I am hooked! Hands down, these are some of the most delectable treats...

Update: management responded with a review of the security footage, to which I'll respond with false advertisement. If the menu clearly shows a milk tea with boba included, one would surmise the product comes with boba. If your menu picture is incorrect it's on the business to communicate the appropriate product. Hence my initial review, dishonesty. Menu picture added. First time visiting this location and had hoped for more transparency or willingness to share information. The young lady at the counter neglected to tell me about the but one/ get one free tuesday deal and that they did not have any Boba available. I ordered a thai milk tea with boba. The young lady proceeded to charge me, then make the milk tea. She then finally serve me the milk tea, minus the boba. When I asked about the boba, she then said, "oh I forgot to tell you. We don't have made boba." In my opinion, not a very honest business.
