What an amazing surprise! I stopped by the Cupcake Doctor on Austin Bluffs in Colorado Springs to pick up a birthday cake for my daughter, and to my delight, I discovered that Nature’s Start Bread Company has moved in and now shares the space.
One of the owners was there, handing out samples, and you could just feel the passion as she spoke with people about the bread. I tried the olive loaf, and oh my gosh—it was so flavorful, it tasted like it already had something spread on it. No butter needed—just pure goodness.
They use a traditional sourdough starter, quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the care and love in every bite. I ended up buying a loaf of their Three Pepper Cheese Sourdough (absolutely incredible!) and even asked for another sample because it was that good. They also offer sweet flavors, so there’s something for everyone.

Victoria does a wonderful job making this bread! I hope others enjoy it as much as I did!
