We were so excited to find a Peruvian restaurant right here in Colorado Springs! My husband is Peruvian, so we had high hopes—and Taytacha absolutely delivered.
We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Anticuchos, Aji de Gallina, and Pollo a la Brasa, and every dish was full of authentic, bold flavors that reminded us of meals in Peru. The meat was tender, the sauces were rich, and everything was cooked to perfection.
On top of the incredible food, the customer service was amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and fast! We felt truly taken care of. One of the coolest surprises was that they offer seeds so you can grow your own ingredients at home and bring a taste of Peru into your own kitchen. Such a thoughtful touch!
We will definitely be coming back and recommending Taytacha to all of our friends. A must-try spot for anyone looking for real Peruvian...

Like most brick and mortar restaurants, I believe they started as a food truck. We happened to come upon this location as we were in between basketball games for our son.
My husband ordered the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans while I shared the lomo saltado with my son. We could have finished the entire plate by ourselves! The lady brought us two sauces to choose from. The lighter sauce was more to my liking, while the greener sauce was more spicy (definitely had jalepeño) which was more to my husband's liking.
Very authentic and the first Peruvian place we've seen in the Springs! We will most definitely be back and will be recommending to and inviting family and friends to support this...
Read moreWe have spent about 2.5 years in Peru and learned to love the food that Peruvians are so proud of… on a recent trip to Colorado Springs we searched for Peruvian restaurants and came up with Taytacha. All I can say is wow… every bit as good as the food we ate on the streets of Lima Peru. The Lomo Saltado is outstanding and be sure to get passion fruit juice and Arroz Con Leche for Desert. The location isn’t fancy but please don’t let that stop you. The couple that runs the restaurant is friendly and I think they know English ( we spoke Spanish with them as it just makes the experience...
