Let me start off by saying I attempted to let mgmt (Mike) know our experience and he acted as if I was in the wrong and wasting his time for my concerns. I've lived in Daytona Beach for 18 months and went to PF Changs twice a week with no issues. The food was always hot, the service was amazing, and they could accommodate if you wanted a booth. Perhaps after this review, Mike could go visit to see the differences. Regarding tonight, we requested a booth. We had a 6:30 reservation. When we arrived, the hostess said a booth was not available and we would need to wait 10 minutes. No worries. They called our name and we were taken to a table. I asked the hostess what about a booth and she said none are available. Fine, no biggie. Lol. Today is the 4th of July. My husband and I both had $20 "Changs cash" for today only. Before we ordered anything, I asked our waitress Tameika, if we could use both and we were planning to order the $18.99 feast and were going to have sangria. She said she would need to go ask the manager. She came back and said yes we can use both if we split the checks and that you could use it on the $18.99 feast. We both ordered salads, the pan fried pork dumplings, and the honey crispy chicken. I asked for the sesame dressing on the side. Salad arrives, dressing on it. Didn't complain. Pork fried dumplings arrived, warm, not hot and sizzling per usual at Daytona, again didn't complain. My sangria was empty at that point. Honey crispy chicken with fried rice came and I needed a side of honey crispy sauce. 25 mins go by and she still hasn't come back. Then when she did we asked for it and a refill of sangria. The sauce she brought was wrong and not the honey crispy sauce. She then said she'd ask the chef and he'd make some. When someone else brought it to the table, you could tell the visible difference of the 2 sauces. By that time, my food was cold. We'd been there almost 2 hours at this point and just wanted to leave. Then she brings the payment tablet to the table and said I'll have to login to redeem the $20 & leaves again. When she comes back she said we can't use both and that doesn't apply. By that time I asked for the manager. After he looked at our table a few times from the hostess stand and decided to go move some chairs at another table, you could tell he was irritated to have to come over. He was not pleasant or personable. He said he is not honoring what she told me and he couldn't do it. I told him about the sauce and the cold food, he didn't care. We still couldn't even get the $20 to work and had to call them back again. Save yourself time and money and never visit this place. Everyone needs retrained, including...
Read moreINTRO - First time here. Heard A LOT about this place, and I’ve always purchased their frozen meals from Walmart, and have never been. HAHA! My wife and I went for our 2 year wedding anniversary to feel fancy and whatever. FIRST IMPRESSION- The place is clean and nice. Unexpectedly a lot of kids… the wait was pretty normal, about 20minutes. the server was AWESOME, but we can’t remember her name. Sorry girly. THE FOOD APPETIZERS - The food was…ok. It took awhile to get the appetizers. The Crab Rangoon was very authentic! (Overwhelming fish taste though) (maybe that’s normal and I’ve had imitation…?) We also ordered the lettuce wraps and the fried green beans. The wraps didn’t have much flavor, and the green beans could of had more breading and definitely needed salt, there is no S&P on the tables, and out waitress never brought any after asking so we didn’t push it. MAIN MEAL - After a good while our food came and it was fresh and hot. I ordered the Chefs trio. It was delicious, but VERY DRY hardly any sauce at all. My wife ordered the Black pepper chicken. Hers was delicious as well, but again hardly any sauce and very dry, BUT A LOT of pepper so really “spicy” HAHA! ALSO had a very tasty LEMON DROP MARTINI!!!! Kudos to the bar. CONCLUSION - Not a very good experience food wise. Especially after spending a decent amount of money and tipping nicely. Atmosphere and service very good. Even with all the kids there, it was ok. They were surprisingly very well behaved, and we have 5...
Read moreI had a wonderful dinner experience at PF Chang's, made even more memorable by the exceptional service provided by Erika, our waitress. From the moment we walked in, her warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening. She guided us through the menu with expertise, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly matched our preferences.
Throughout the meal, Erika's attentiveness was remarkable. Our drinks were never empty, and she checked in at just the right moments to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Her knowledge of the dishes was evident, as she answered our questions and described each dish with enthusiasm with insight to items that were even off the menu!
The food itself was a delightful journey of flavors. From the buda’s bowel I had was well balanced with high notes of garlic and ginger, to the off the menu of double pan fried noodles that were full of umami flavor.
What truly stood out was Erika's ability to make us feel like valued guests. She engaged in genuine conversations, sharing her own insights about the menu and the restaurant. It was evident that she took pride in her role and genuinely cared about our dining experience.
In the end, our evening at PF Chang's was not just about the delicious food, but also about the exceptional service provided by Erika. Her professionalism, warmth, and contagious smile turned a regular dinner into a memorable and enjoyable experience. We left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces, grateful for the wonderful...
