Really broke my heart 😔 I used to think Santanas was worth 5 stars, that has changed. Back a few years ago this spot was impressive, but experiencing the LACK IN QUALITY of the food after many visits, as well as seeing the INSANE price increases, I cant say I will be considering this spot much anymore, I simply CANNOT justify nor afford the prices now. *(Pic of menu recent since 2022). Especially considering the prices are not worth the lack in quality. Atleast provide items that reflect care and effort if it costs that much smh.

How disappointing to see this spot TAXING on the vegan market, when before customers would rave about affordibility - literally this used to be the ONLY affordable vegan joint within an hour's drive. I live in Denver, I cannot even justify $11 - $15 for a burger, burrito or hotdog in the city, Im surely NOT going to pay that price in the burbs. LITERALLY VEGANS COULD MAKE BETTER QUALITY MEALS AT A MORE AFFORDABLE PRICE BY JUST SHOPPING @ THE STORE AND COOKING AT HOME! WHICH IS WHAT MOST OF US PREFER THESE DAYS ANYWAYS BC IT AINT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY @ THESE RESTAURANTS. Do businesses think their customers are not aware of the product market? This spot was a treat Id look forward to when visiting the Springs, but truly not worth it now with the high prices and slapped together food.

Santanas was on the path to greatness and has been much appreciated for their offerings to the Vegan community. But once you drop quality & raise prices that has always been, and will ALWAYS be, why a business loses customers. Ho-hum attitudes toward customer service are a bad look too. Idk whats happened to this place, but its disheartening 💔

Things are getting hard for everyone, we are all being pressed and struggling to get by, Im sure costs to maintain a business are rising too, but to change that, communities MUST go against the grain to encourage doing business BETTER, not hop on the bandwagon of effortless profit. No. Thats where yall go wrong. The increasing costs on the vegan market really undermines the efforts of the vegan community to work towards sustainable and healthy lifestyles - its absolutely NOT about cashing in on the community - so its really frustrating to see this continuing to happen across the board. Nothing will change if ppl dont start remembering where value lays in serving the community and reflecting that in the actions of businesses. If theres a will, theres a way, especially to BE BETTER - but not seeing a lot of will here. Sorry Santanas, but I cant say Im...

I went in at about 2:00 on a Tuesday. I was the only car, though I probably saw another dozen or two in the half hour I was eating in my car in the parking lot.

I ordered the deluxe bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger tasted like a fast food burger. The fries were fries. It was pretty brilliant. The burger even had that like fake juiciness that fast food burgers have. I don't think I've could easily tell this apart from Burger King or something similar without deconstructing it (a piece of this bacon on its own is obviously going to be very unlike real bacon, but the rest of the burger was spot on).

The drinks are generous. You get way more juice/etc than I would expect for the price.

The food portion was really quite large too. The burger is big and I got way more fries than I could handle. It came out to about $10+tax. You can spend about $6 on a regular burger though if you want less food.

In following trips I've made, I've noticed a few small negatives:

-the fries are a bit inconsistent and regularly a hair undercooked. -the desserts are quite possibly the three sweetest things I have ever tasted. I like them on the first bite all right, but I have to break them up eating them because of how sweet they are. Like southern sweet tea from the gas station sweet. It detracts from any other flavors that might be going on.

It's out of my way, but I'll definitely be back.

Update December 2023: starting coming in again a bit more lately, and I've noticed a few improvements since the inconsistency that ultimately drove me away a couple years ago:

The food has just gotten more flavorful. The burritos are so freaking good, and it's great that breakfast is all day.

Prices are still pretty reasonable all things considered. I think the burritos are the best bang for your buck because I usually go in super hungry. It's like the same price to get a burrito at one of the Mexican or Guatemalan joints around here.

The lobby has improved over time, and perhaps most importantly, there's music now, because a lobby desperately needs music.

The service is good. It's fast food essentially, but they bring stuff out to you. ^Actually, this is a huge point. There was more than one occasion a couple years ago where I waited 30-60 minutes for my food (even in the drive through). My last couple trips the food...

Hi Colorado Springs. I've been vegetarian for 11 years now and have been eating at Santana's regularly for over a year now. Unfortunately I had an experience last night that made me never want to go back. We placed our order for 3 chicken parm and a seasoned fry. When we pulled up we saw the clerk at the window try to wave down the car in front of us while they were driving away. We even tried to flash our lights at them. But they went on with their night and we paid and then were stuck at the window for over 30 minutes waiting for our food. Nobody ever came to greet us or tell us what happened. Proceeding to back up the line behind us. When we finally received our food they told us that they had accidentally given our food to the person in front of us. Which at this point we were a bit frustrated and asked for a refund and they refused. So we took our food and started eating it. This is where I got upset. The vegan chicken was HARD and there was minimal cheese and marinara sauce. Like I said I've been eating here for over a year and I know what this meal is supposed to be like. I called Santanas and they said they'd be happy to give me a refund if I returned that night. So I drove back at 9pm and the manager refused us a refund again. Citing that the owners said no, she watched our food get cooked, and that she was on break so she had no control over the situation(!?) I understand everywhere is running on a skeleton crew still. But there are multiple thing they could have done differently. First they could have asked us to pull around instead of making everyone else wait 30 minutes for their food too. Second they should have never offered a refund on the phone just to deny it in person. Third, just take accountability. We're all human we make mistakes I get it. The manager saying sorry would have gone a longer way than...

I have been here once before while they were still at the tiny drive through location and the wait would take forever and a day. Im so happy they finally have a location where you can dine in if you want! I got their bacon cheese burger and chicken slider the first time and i remember just falling in love with the burger. The bacon even tastes amazing. I just went again today at their new location and they have added so much to their menu. I ordered the chicken tenders, italian sausage, and seasoned fries for a tad over $18. I wanted to get the buffalo tenders but i wanted to share them with my coworker who doesn't eat meat. The regular tenders are so good, taste a bit like chicken and tofu mixed together covered in oats. The Italian sausage is mouth watering with fried jalapenos, peppers, and mayo. The "sausage" is a little grainy but not in a bad way more like you know it's not a meat based sausage. The seasoned fries are so darn good but they give you so much that the box doesn't close. If I'm ever craving a "hot dog" i will definitely be coming back. Btw my coworker enjoyed it as well and she even said she is going there to try their burger!
