I have been to multiple different Sonic drive thru’s and have reviewed them very rarely have I had anything negative to say about them. But this one I won’t come back nor do I recommend this location. Pulled and waited for about 20 minutes hit the button because the light just stayed red and no one had even taken my order . So I hit it again nothing happened for another 5-7 minutes. Then the button started to flash and read to activate hit red button. I was hung up on basically. I hit it again and waited for at least another 5-10 minutes with no response. As I was waiting I noticed that no one was being helped that was parked. But the drive thru was moving rapidly. I decide to just go through it and it only took maybe 10 minutes. To get my food took me over an hour for no other reason then this Sonic had chose not to handle anyone that was parked only drive thru only. Also decide to take it upon themselves to not one time call thru to let us know that only drive thru was open. Then I pull around and thought the person helping get my food was just laughing at someone inside. But I had the feeling that it was me that she and whoever was in the back with her were laughing at me and it was why she had my food ready bagged and handed to me very quickly. With much more than price, card, and thank you. I really felt like I was the butt of someone’s joke. To make matters worse the food which I was so hungry that I began to gobble down the burger rather quickly along with only 1 and a half onion rings before having to quit abruptly feeling the urge to vomit. The rings were either overcooked or under with a burnt oil odd after taste. The burger was not cooked at all the way thru I like mine with no pink(didn’t think it was served any other way) it had the very end of the tomatoes but what made it unappetizing was that I cannot explain a unusual taste I don’t know how to describe it. The only that was almost correct was the Oreo cheesecake shake. Like I said almost it was missing the cheesecake. But had I not become ill I would have enjoyed it. Read moreNormally the only problem I have with this location is the slow service, which I have 5 of their have a treat on us cards to validate, but last night they really missed the mark. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger plain, at least three times I repeated plain and then finally followed that with "just the patties, cheese and bacon on the buns". When I got to the window and the order was read back to me, I again corrected them, the fifth time now that I am giving this order for the same burger, again I said "just the patties, cheese and bacon on the buns please" and was told by the person at the window that he would go and correct it and he walked in that direction after confirming that the rest of the order was correct. It was not corrected and I discovered a fully dressed burger that I had clearly ordered plain at least 5 times on that visit.
However, this isn't the worst part of the experience. After the frustration of discovering a burger that I had told them was to be plain so many times was the exact opposite and had everything on it, I discovered that another burger in our order was incorrect as well. This one had been ordered with extra tomatoes and the tomatoes were certainly extra. There were two tomato tops with stems and leaves still attached and a bottom with the hard core still left in it. I don't understand how these made it into whatever the tomatoes are held in, let alone placed on a burger. One of these would be bad enough, but three incorrectly trimmed tomato slices on the same burger is ridiculous amd absolutely unacceptable. As is the usual, I had the privilege of waiting quite a long time to receive this order and also, as is usual at this location, they had no drink carriers AGAIN.
Sonic, hire workers who take some sort of pride in their work and make sure that you have the needed supplies for your customers. It will be quite a long time before I bother with Sonic again, if...
Read moreI had this review at 3 stars because I was being really generous. This is the Sonic I go to most but I can't tell you how many times they mess up our orders. I only go here because they are closest, but sometimes they really mess up orders bad. Today we ordered an Oreo Chocolate shake, with extra chocolate surup and strawberries. The shake came out almost black which was expected and the Orea shake did not have the surup or srrawberries. We have had this shake several times and know exactly how it tastes and looks like. We asked for our order to be fixed and they took the shake and made another. The second shake was supposed to be the same order and instead she made a strawberry shortcake which is very light. When we asked to talk to manager the girl on the speaker said she was the manager, what us the problem. When we told her the the problem she said she made the shake and I was wrong. She then said you will have to talk to the manager, which is how she originally identified herself as (lied). The manager came on and I just asked for a refund on the shake. When the manager came out I showed her a picture of an oreo shake I found online and asked if this was even close to the same color. Her response was that the added chocolate surup sometimes lightens the color. Let me say that again, the really dark chocolate surup somehow makes chocolate lighter. How???? In her defence she did refund the shake, but honestly they jacked up once (dark shake with no add ons) then jacked up twice with a super light shake which was most definitly was strawberry shortcake....oh and the completely forgot my diet cherry limeaide with no ice and they fixed that by giving me my drink full of ice and with my headache I am confident it was not diet.
