I’m a tour manager from LA for a group of retired travelers visiting Colorado for a week-long rail trip throughout the state. We were in town for a scatter lunch. A small trio of town ambassadors suggested I dine here with my driver, so we did.

Pros: cheap $10-10.50 daily lunch specials. The Thai iced tea was delicious and made just right — perfect ratio of black tea to condensed milk. 👌🏻

I had the Wild Ginger Pad Thai lunch special, which came with your choice of hot & sour soup or chicken rice soup. I chose the latter and it was tasty.

The pad thai was also delicious — moist and flavorful. Only 2 pieces of shrimp, however.

Cons: there are ZERO curries listed in their daily lunch special offerings. Most Thai restaurants offer at least 1-2 curries on their lunch special. Here, they list their curries for $15.50+.

Service was severely lacking. They were NOT FRIENDLY or hospitable at all. We were seated, they took our order, served us food, and NEVER came back to check in. I had to ask for a chili tray, more water, and a check.

I also asked for a to-go box for my noodles as well as a to-go cup for my half drunk Thai tea as I wanted to bring it with me on the bus. It was hot out.

I was then given a plastic round container and a lid as well as one of those take-out boxes that you’d typically get at a Chinese restaurant.

When I asked about a cup to go for my tea, the lady working nonchalantly answered, “We don’t have any” and pointed to the container. When I asked her how was I supposed to drink my tea on the go, that the container is for food, not a beverage, she just shrugged and left.

HOW does a restaurant NOT have to-go cups? Has anyone not ordered Thai tea or Thai coffee to go? Unbelievable, and even more bothersome that the lady was so unconcerned with my needs as a customer. It was the lack of warmth and hospitality that did not warrant a gratuity in the end.

Only the cook deserves praise. The front of house staff are like robots. No smile. No conversation. No check-in. Nothing. I get that in Thailand, this is how it is. I have traveled there. I, myself am Asian, and in the Asian culture, we let diners be. However, this is America. The restaurant culture in America is not the same in Asian countries.

I’m in the service-based industry too, and tips are part of our livelihood, but I believe in working hard for your money. Customer service is everything, but unfortunately, the staff here exemplify zero customer...

My partner and I sat down here and had a good meal. Our food was great but… the great meal took a ridiculous turn. I ordered #5 on the menu, pineapple duck. The menu price is 16.95. I posted a picture of the menu and our check. When the check came it was 21.95. Our server apologized and told me it was his mistake but they could not do anything about it when we came up to pay at the cash register. I argued a little bit about it and he went back to ask someone if they could fix it and he came back and said no. I argued a little more and he went back and got the lady he was talking to. She came out YELLING at me that they weren’t going to honor the menu price. Now we are yelling back and forth at each other over the cash register in front of other guests. She said fine I’ll honor it this time but never again. I said that’s cool we will never come back here. She said great we would prefer that. Sorry, no. You can’t just charge whatever price you feel like that differs from your menu. Especially when they are aware of it. The server even told me this has happened a few times already.. put a sticker over the price with the new one what’s the problem?

You now lost a customer that eats out for every meal , and got a one star review out of it. You’re going to YELL at me over a mistake YOU...

Let's start with the good...the food was FANTASTIC. It was really delicious and came out piping hot and ready to enjoy. That's why they get 3 stars instead of 2. Chicken Satay, TOP NOTCH. Both entrees were fantastic. We ordered medium spice and were surprised it felt more mild but it was still very delicious. However, that's where good things stop.

It was two of us eating. We ordered Chicken Satay and two entrees, all at the same time. The Satay took just shy of 30 minutes to come out. The only reason I know that is because I sent a text to someone as we walked in. After 30 minutes, I told my husband that after 40 minutes, I was going to ask where our food was because we hadn't even received our appetizer yet and nobody had come by to let us know it was taking longer than usual. However, it came out moments later. After the satay, we saw our food about 10-15 minutes later. The waitress even made the comment, "I swear I didn't forget about you guys!!". We laughed it off because things happen but we were there for a little over an hour for a restaurant that wasn't SUPER busy, only moderately busy. We only got checked on a couple times in that hour or so. Everyone was very nice and while the food was good, I don't have the patience to wait over an hour for a...
