Loved the food and portions, and it being closer to closing time (arriving at 8:50pm with 10pm closing)I was grateful they were open and that we could still be seated. My husband and I looked over the menu and plenty to choose from. The menu is great for both picky eaters and large appitites because of the alacarte options and ways to build-your- own burgers and shakes. They had many listed styles of burgers to pick from, named by their toppings and a section of the menu kindly offered for those who don't want to order burgers. The last two hours of their night, it is happy hour when it is half off appetizers. I ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, which was very different from anything I had ever had before, and they were delicious! They were deep fried! We also ordered the pickles. So far, this was a fast, sit-down, pleasant experience that I would recommend to everyone and anyone. The reason I am giving the Restaurant 3 stars instead of 5 was because the whole experience was dampered significantly when I got the bill. I understand there is inflation and going out to dinner and tipping your waitress 20% or more if they were good. It was 1 item on the bill. My husband and I each ordered 1 drink. I ordered a Manhattan with "bulleit bourbon." I like the type of bourbon, but I honestly chose it because It was quickly recalled from seeing all over the drink menu as their bourbon of choice that they use in these other offered drinks. So I remembered the name without having to ask the waitress what my choices were. Pictures of Old fashioned, long island or (another name for long island) and other drinks were listed using the same bourbon u for $14/$15. I was blown away to see my drink was $19! Other than ordering a glass of wine at Ruth's Chris Steak house, I have never paid $19 for any drink, especially when it is only a 2.5 oz. One served in a martini glass. I asked the waitress why it was so much. She said it was due to the type of bourbon. Their Well bourbon, she said, would have only been $9. I FEEL THE WAITRESS SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME WHEN ORDERING I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED. WE WERE CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY AND I AM GLAD I DIDNT HAVE TWO FOR THE OCCASION OR I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY LOST MY MIND. SO 3 STARS FOR THE MARKETING TACTIC THAT, HOWEVER WELL IT WORKED-whether the reason of high price drink totals is to compensate for the halfpriced appetizers or not- the benefit of a well crafted marketing move is lost when it results in customer disappointment and dissatisfaction from being surprised in such a way. Left a bad taste in my mouth from an otherwise would have been almost perfect experience. I also think that $19 is an alarmingly high price for what it was. The 3/4 dollar markup doesnt benefit in the long run because a normal customer will only make the mistake of ordering and...
Read moreMy husband and 2 kids went in for dinner around 8pm. We think our servers name was Logan. We all ordered waters to begin with and the server brought us one of those silver cups filled with forks, straws, and knives. My son noticed first and said I don't think that cup is clean. So I grabbed it and it looked like a bunch of chunks all around the cup so I grabbed a paper towel to check it and a bunch of black stuff rubbed off onto the napkin. So when the server came back I asked him if I could have 4 new straws from his apron because the cup was dirty. He told me no it isn't we wash everything. I told him I rubbed some stuff off with one of their napkins and went to grab the napkin to show him. He scuffed at me and said everything gets washed but sure here's some different straws and ignored me showing him the dirty napkin . At this point we decided we aren't going to eat here, but my husband wanted to talk to the manager. My husband dumped the cup out and all the straws had gross leftover ice cream and oreos all over them. The bottom of the cup was caked in old ice cream also. I tried to flag down the server and he looked right at me rolled his eyes and walked in the back. My husband had to flag another server down who was dropping off food to the table behind us to ask for the manager. The manager came over and my husband explained that the server just argued with us about the cup being dirty and called us liars so we showed it to her. She apologized and was very polite but there was no way i was going to eat there after being treated that way. I pointed to the gross straws and she grabbed them up really quickly. We told her that we weren't going to stay and eat after that anyway, but politely thanked her for coming to talk to us. I will never go back to a bad daddys again after my...
Read moreI want to preface this by stating we went to bad daddy's two-three weeks ago and had such a great, delicious burger filled experience. This is partly why this review is being written. We always say, "Don't go somewhere twice!" The first time will always be good, but I've only found one or two restaurants that keep that quality consistent. Last visit, we ordered the Mozzerella burger, small truffle fries, and a pulled pork burger. The truffle fries were delicious, perfectly portioned, seasoned, and the sauce, omg the sauce. I could swim in that sauce. The mozzarella burger was also incredible. The cheese pull mixed with the burger, and marinara sauce was such a unique, delightful bite! That is what makes this so sad! This visit we ordered truffle fries, truffalo wings, and a mozzarella burger. To start off, I am not sure if we didn't specific correctly or weren't given the right size, but this size was huge! Way too much for two people. The fries were lukewarm and lightly flavored. The truffalo wings had no distinct flavor of truffle, and there was nothing special about them. They were just buffalo wings. But! At least they were hot! Lastly, the mozzarella burger. The entire burger was cold, the bottom bun was soaked through, no cheese pull, and very cold marinara. It was a very sad excuse for a burger. Overall, I would suggest trying this place out when it's really really slow. This visit it was prime dinner time, and we basically sat at a table and checked on once. Last visit, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, and the server was very helpful at recommending things and giving us options. 0/10 would recommend at dinner, 10/10 for a slow...
