Bivouac Coffee – More Than Just an Elite Coffee Experience
Stepping into Bivouac Coffee isn’t just about grabbing a cup of coffee—it’s about stepping into a story, a journey, and a place where hospitality is as rich as the coffee itself. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, not just as customers but as guests.
The attention to detail here is exceptional. With each order, we were served a shot of seltzer water and a stroopwafel—a nod to the owner’s roots and a small but thoughtful touch that elevated the experience. It’s clear this isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a place built on tradition, quality, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay awhile.
And let’s talk about the coffee. This is the real deal—carefully sourced, expertly roasted, and crafted with precision. Whether you’re a casual drinker or a full-blown coffee nerd, Bivouac delivers something special, something worth savoring. The atmosphere is warm, the service is genuine, and every detail feels intentional.

Secondly, the cashier was not very friendly or welcoming. Then, when she went to give me my coffee she said they don’t have straws. I’m all for saving the environment but I am on a road trip and it is easiest for me to drink my iced coffee with a straw vs risking spilling it all over myself while driving. I would say if this place is a representation of Colorado or Evergreen hospitality they are not doing a good job. Was going to give 3 stars if the coffee was at least good but I got my regular — iced cafe mocha — which is what I get at every coffee place. This one was bitter, not sweet at all, & I feel I would have been better off going...

Rene was up long before dawn, brewing the smoothest and finest of blends. While it’s a known fact that every cup of coffee shared across a sunrise and bonfire with fellow riders is the cup you’ll ever drink, Bivouac Coffee really is something to carry home with you. I bought my favorites and enjoyed excellent brew for the next two months as I made my way back toward home. Take the long way home, always. Pack light and treat yourself to...
