Chef’s kiss! The gyro meat is soooo flavorful and delicious. I was previously going to the Mediterranean Market up the street, but the gyros here might actually be better. Ssshhhh.
The only annoyance I had was that the online ordering system shows that a gyro meal comes with fries, but if you walk in and order, it comes with hummus. Would love that to be clarified, and it would also be great if they didn’t charge a $1.75 “convenience fee” to order online. What is that even for anyway?
Also I now live in Longmont and haven’t been in this area in a couple years, but I believe the current owners are new, because the last time I ate here, the interior looked completely different and I think it was called something else. Read moreI was looking for something original for lunch the other day and came across Kabora and was so happy to find them. The two fella's working were so nice and willing to explain if I had any questions. Everything is really delicious! I had the chicken shawarma sandwich combo. Excellent 👍 Get extra pickles on the sandwich, you wont regret it. Everything is made fresh, nothing to my knowledge is from Sysco or the like. Definitely my new favorite place. Kinda over stuffed burritos, you know.. This is way better and a much better value.
Addition: Here again on a weekend in Feb.. Still delicious!! Please come check this place out so they can hire some folks to...
Read moreMediocre at best. Not enough meat on the lamb or gyro plate. The actual gyro I got was undercooked and still pink, contracted food poisoning later. Too much rice vs meat ratio. Fries were pretty good. Staff is lazy and unskilled. BTW a kebab with beans and rice is what we ate in Afghanistan. Gyro's are Greek. It's also very overpriced, even for a mall.
To be honest I really thought I would love this place. The gyro looked amazing, the plates, not so much. In fact these gentlemen on the grill completely forgot I had ordered a gyro today. Had to remind him. I've eaten there three times, and food poisoning once. 3:1 on...
