Atmosphere: Bubblecup Tea Zone is a causal, comfortable place to go for a wide variety of drinks. They have couch seating and tables for two (the seats are tall bar stool chairs). The decorations are cute and for Valentine's Day they had glittery hearts as centerpieces on the tables. 5/5

Staff: The staff is friendly and efficient. There was a long line when we got there, but it moved very quickly. Orders are made at the counter, and then customers sit and wait for their name to be called to pick up their order. 5/5

Food: I had the Honey Green Milk Tea with boba. The drink was delightful. The straws were a bit too small for the boba to travel through, so they were prone to plug up the bottom of the straw. This is my favorite independent boba shop. All the staff are kind and courteous. There is a vast variety of drinks available from tangy, fruit teas to creamy, sweet cookies and cream shakes. There are dairy free (dried milk proteins), plant milk, and dairy options. They don't have as many add ins as some of the chain shops, but there are plenty of delicious, distinct toppings to add, including classic tapioca pearls. The texture varies (they tend to be firmer in the morning hours and softer towards the end of the day), but I am happy with gummy bear like texture. I’ve been going to bubble cup tea zone before it transferred ownership - and many times after! I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here, probably, which is why it’s really disappointing that I have to say it’s not the same as it used to be. Every single time I’ve come in recently all the people working behind the counter are either sitting down at the tables talking amongst themselves (and don’t move to greet you or take your order when you walk in) or just straight up won’t even acknowledge your presence.
