Bite and After Bite CoMo — Restaurant in Columbia Township

Late night, everything (good) is either closed or you have to go inside, so when I googled restaurants open late & this popped up, I checked the menu & knew I had to give it a shot. So glad I did.

Super easy to get to near 63 & Conley, a lil hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. It's basically a window you walk up to in the middle of a row of shops & you order online or use the QR code to bring up the menu & order there (but I don't think they take or keep cash, it's one of them) Just follow the smell of yummy pulled pork!

Now the menu... I don't have the words to describe how amazing everything is and how hard it's gonna be to make a decision. Like me, you'll just have to go back & try it all! I can't wait to try the cinnamon roll burrito (read the ingredients, 😋) for a late dessert/early breakfast!

Also, a huge shout out to Chad (I hope that's right, shaved head guy) who noticed my phone was being a jerk & would NOT read the QR code which on top of a bad day, almost sent me over the edge. But instead I left with some of the best Mac & cheese I've had from any restaurant! And they didn't scrimp on the serving size either! I left 😁 & full with enough for the next day, sipping my lemonade the whole way home. What more could...

Late-Night Delight at After Bite! I recently visited After Bite, a fantastic spot for those craving a late-night dinner or post-bar munchies. Parking was a breeze, setting a positive tone for the evening. The staff at After Bite deserves a shout-out - friendly and cool, they made the experience enjoyable from the start. I spent $40 last night here. I ain’t gone lie, I wasn’t happy! Idk based off the other reviews they must’ve just rushed through my order (being that I order at 1:40am). I was disappointed the food looked nothing like the review pictures. The house dry rub chicken wings was big and slimy inside (I tried to air fry it at home). I order chicken nachos but everything separate so it wouldn’t be soggy, the portion of the chicken didn’t match the price at all. However they snapped on the donuts (those were good) & they were really nice!!

UPDATE‼️ The owner (Chad) reached out to me to address my concerns. He was very polite, apologetic and basically explained he takes his business serious. He offered his staff a redo & I was able to get the experience everyone talks high of. The food was good, cooked throughly, and season well! The team never lacked professionalism (so that was never an issue). It was nice to see a business owner care about their customers feelings and not just money hungry!
