Customer service and professionalism is not this places strong suit. Food is pretty good and I appreciate the attempt to add more main stream things to the menu. But there’s usually a mess up with my order when I go. The elotes and and cheese balls were dry and don’t have much flavor. the cheese sauce is just canned nacho cheese 😖. The burrito had no cheese and fell apart immediately. The baked potato had no flavor. There was no seasoning on anything. The fried Oreos were sitting in a pool of oil. The hot cheeto burger and fries, however, was delicious. This time, I called in my order 10 minutes before arriving and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes when I was there to receive my order. This was mostly due to the fact that the young woman that took my phone order messed up my order a total of three different times. When I walked in there was a girl at the register on a very loud personal cell phone call on speaker. It took her several minutes to acknowledge me. She eventually told me my total and I realized she rang my order up wrong. She seemed annoyed at this point and had it corrected. I waited an additional few minutes to discover it was made incorrectly again. I waited an additional few minutes and my order came out. I came all the way home to realize the order was still completely wrong. I called back and the same cashier seemed even more annoyed and was hesitant when I asked for her name. I am from California so I am used to having loads of legit Mexican food options. I am also Mexican, I have served as a cook with my specialty being Mexican food and I am genuinely addicted to tacos, trying tacos everywhere I go throughout the US, Mexico and E.U. With that said, I recently tried Mexican food in Columbia at another place and... NO (is all I will say). Today I needed tacos because it is Tuesday. So, I read through several reviews and menus, and looked at many pictures of tacos. I ultimately chose Beto's and I am happy I did. I had 3 chicken tacos and they were delicious, from the handmade tortillas to the perfectly seasoned chicken. They aren't greasy like authentic street tacos but they tasted fresh and flavorful. Customer service was great too, the gentleman who helped me was super nice and even threw in extra salsa when I told him I like to burn my mouth! The salsa was pretty good too (Not too spicy but full of flavor). If I am ever in the area again I will definitely return and try more items...

I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in Tn, but this by far exceeds 90% of Mexican restaurants in Tennessee. I personally think they have the best Mexican food in Columbia, and would definitely recommend. I really enjoyed the mulas, for sure going to go back for more.
