The food is leftOVER, OVERpriced, and the inside needs a makeOVER. Most of the food is in warmers that dont work, you probably havent noticed because the glass case covering is so dirty. I still can't get OVER the price for 2 dryed up ribbones nothing else $6.50.😮 I went back the next day because I thought they OVERcharged me , the young lady was quick to let me know that "She aint OVER the prices. I asked for a manager, his response, "Some ovem bigga than the uthuns". Wow! I love supporting the black community I guess thats why I keep going back, thinking one day they will get tired of hearing customers complain and fix simple issues for instance, why cant you pick up a piece of cornbread without it crumbling into pieces? Thats ridiculous and why do you think people enjoy looking at your skin disorder that I'm sure sometimes itch and flake while you prepare there food then throw it in the microwave? Its called a "Long-Sleeve Shirt it goes OVER those burnmarks or whatever the hell it is. Noone wanna see that but I'm almost certain after all these years, you just dont give a dam. Ive even heard people say when they see him they pretend they changed there mind and leave. I refuse to be ripped off with poor quality and poor service at a premium cost. If you ever go there, notice you never see any workers smile.😡 I wouldn't neither after hearing complaints all day. Big Boys on Farrow Road, I'll be OVER there tommorow, its on the other side of town but worth the drive. If you've never tried them I promise you wont be disappointed.

Sorry if this post offends anyone Just...

Big T's made it on the list of the Top 100 BBQ Joints in SC because their traditional wood-smoked pulled pork BBQ is consistently good. But they also offer a lot of other selections on their menu such as hash & rice, fried chicken, ribs, fish and a few standard veggies (green beans, macaroni & cheese, french fries and collard or mustard greens), as well as cornbread and more. The fresh lemonade is a nice option you don't find many places, and the banana pudding and other desserts have always been great. My favorite thing about Big T's is that it isn't a buffet. So you can order just the right amount of food to satisfy your appetite, without feeling compelled to go back for seconds and leaving stuffed to the gills. This gives them another edge in that they are a bit cheaper than the other BBQ Joints in Columbia. Don't let their modest Strip Mall location dissuade you. These friendly, God-fearing folks serve some of the best BBQ within...

Reviews lied!! Yams weren't done. Server was rude. The food literally tasted like someone was just learning how to cook. The Mac and cheese was ok. I was looking for some good Ole southern soulfood and only got disappointed. The rice had what looked like and tasted like canned pork covered with their mild sauce. Not good nor impressive. It felt like the struggle was real! Most items requested from the menu wasn't being server. ( Chicken filet sandwich was one item not served). They only had turnip greens, Mac and cheese, rice, hash, pull pork, green beans, ribs that wasn't falling off the bone, fried chicken, red velvet cake that was sliced really thin and tasted dry like old leftover cake. This was in the cooler. I would recommend people to go somewhere else to get food. This was definitely a bad choice for myself and family. We won't be...

Quintessential Southern Bar-b-que. This unassuming little joint is making outstanding Carolina comfort food and is absolutely worth a visit. We came hungry and tried everything we could. Everything is delicious, and their mustard sauce is magical. Definitely get the greens. The hash and rice were a new experience for us, and now we don't understand how it isn't served at every BBQ joint. The fried chicken is the best we've had since momma made it over the stove in her cast iron. Ribs? Oh yeah. Pulled pork. You better believe it. I'm glad we live on the west coast, or I'd be here for 3 a day.

I recently visited Big T's Bar-B-Que in Columbia, SC, and ordered the smothered chicken with rice, mac and cheese, collards, cornbread, and a drink. The meal was hearty and flavorful, with the smothered chicken being tender and well-seasoned, paired perfectly with the rice. The mac and cheese was creamy, and the collards had just the right amount of seasoning. The cornbread was warm and soft, rounding out a delicious Southern comfort meal. With generous portions and great taste, Big T's offers a satisfying and authentic dining experience.

To be honest, the food was really good. The person took my order. It was amazing now on the other hand, the cook or someone who came from the back was really rude I ask is pork in some of the ingredients in the sides they said no oh my gosh, rude and aggressively. and it was a big whole problem but other than that everything was great I don’t eat pork it’s against my religion. Some people take that serious, and I just hope more people can understand it in the south. Shemmy
