I try to be honest in my reviews, I wanna give this place a 5* but the server in me just can't. I walked in and was completely ignored. Hostess stood right by the menus, made eye contact with me and didn't say a word. 2 guys walked in a bit after me and she immediately acknowledged them and asked how many in their party. I had to interrupt and state that I was he first, so I would appreciate being seated first. The restaurant was steady but not super busy. This was a lunch rush on a Saturday so I can sympathize....a little. Server got to me quickly. While I waited for my food I noticed them filling the salad bar. They didn't rotate anything. The guy would bring stuff out and pour the new stuff on top. Which is a no-no. When my food came out, it was fresh and hot. You could tell the Taziki sauce was homemade. I do wish the cucumber pieces were a little smaller, it should be a sauce that you can easily...

Ordered a large Pizza, fries, and a trip to the salad bar. Pizza was thin crust and crispy, just how I like. The crust Edge was super narrow, so there was room for more cheese and toppings. The pizza was piping hot and served on a large pan. All the vegetables on the salad bar were colorful and high quality. The service and family atmosphere was nice. The owner thanked us for coming. Our server was Erin, and she did a fantastic job. She was full of helpful information about the city, and she must have stopped at our table 8 times to ask if we needed anything. Reminds me of the way restaurants use to treat customers before the corporate chains started. We will definitely put it on our list as a go-to. It’s the perfect place to take a large group as they have some large tables...

It’s okay. Ordered take out, felt rushed to put in an order with visible sighs when I had to pull up the menu on my phone in front of the 2 cashier guys. It was starting to get busy so I understand. Was told 15 minutes, took about 23. To me the service was subpar at best but others may feel different if you dine in. Got the house special and garlic cheese bread, didn’t know if was just 6 inch sandwich roll with melted cheese on it. Pizza was alright. With The charges on 4% credit card fees with Togo box charges, I personally don’t see myself coming back for a almost $30 small pizza and sandwich roll cheese bread( would’ve been 30 with the drink that I declined).Their takeout experience was not me. A lot of other people clearly had better luck than i had so dine...

Outstanding pizza! This is my second time here. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza. The Italian sausage is made onsite and boy is it tasty! The crust was crispy and not too thick. I prefer a thinner pizza and this was great. Plenty of mozzarella cheese too! Dinner side salad was ok. I also ordered the spaghetti dinner and it was a large portion with Texas Toast. Good as well. My waitress was Josie who was attentive and nice. For dessert I had Baklava. Though good it was hard on the bottom. G & D Pizzaria has a strong base of repeat customers. Friendly service and a desire by the owners and management to say hello and engage with their customers is noticed. Prices are reasonable. Expect a bit of a wait on getting your pizza when it's busy.
