I had low expectations after reading previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience and intend to return in the future! My order was complete in 15 minutes. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. There were chili peppers in my General Tso's chicken, which I am grateful for since I've eaten in places that neglect to add the spice element. The mongolian beef dish was also appropriately spicy as well! Not offensively spicy, but enough that you could feel it linger on your tongue over the duration of the meal.

This place is a joke. We ordered 4 combos and left almost right away to head over. It was 9:06pm when I called our order in and got the about 9:40pm. She tried to give me someone else's order first that cost less than ours. I told her that I was given a different total so she walked to the back. She came back and also ended up going to the back again a couple times before asking what I ordered. I told her what we ordered but it took her a while to figure it out. I waited til she came out with our order at 10:06pm. Meanwhile another customer had come in explaining that they were given another persons order not theirs and somehow they ended up there but by mistake because they ordered somewhere else. I was sitting there trying to think of how that could possibly happen but left with our food. The next day my fiance was getting ready to eat his combo during his lunch but when he opened it up it was not the combo we ordered. After he got home and told me what happened I called to explain what happened. Let me just tell you that this lady is very rude and so disrespectful. She wouldn't let me talk at all and just was so defensive from the start. She was yelling and screaming at me which this is how the other customer was being treated while I was there. She proceeded to say that I didn't know what I ordered and since it took us over an hour, according to her, to get there our food was given to someone that came in and supposedly ordered the exact thing we did. She would let me talk and she continued being very nasty. I even told her that she wouldn't even listen to me. She ended up hanging up on me. Top it off, 10 minutes later my cell rings and I answer it just to have her say that my order is ready. I couldn't believe it and I asked what she said just to have her hang up on me again. You're telling me that when they make people's orders they give them away to others that order not to mention somehow its the exact same thing?? I can't believe how this woman was. I will never go back...

I never leave reviews online, and am usually understanding when a good restaurant has a bad night and don’t hold it against them. However, while Grand China used to be really good, their consistent downward spiral into a tepid swamp of mediocrity has motivated me to warn others in hopes of saving them from an evening of disappointment. (There are many great local places that actually care about what they do that I will continue to support). They have been taking longer and longer to deliver - I’m only a few miles away and tonight it took an hour and a half, after being told 45 minutes. And the food was cold. And the order wasn’t correct. I did not call to have them fix it, as waiting potentially 3 hours from the original order time seemed more painful than just eating what they felt like giving me. Also, I can’t be certain, but one of the containers looked a little light, as if the driver may have sampled it. I guess I can’t blame them if they got hungry on the arduous journey. When the delivery driver finally came, there was no excuse or apology given, which if there was, I wouldn’t be writing this review. I would understand if they were like hey, we had someone call out, or there was some sort of legitimate issue, etc. I did tip them, in case it wasn’t the driver’s fault, but it was a bit less than my usual generous over-tip. I have been trying to support local businesses and tip heavily for those working during this pandemic, but honestly, Grand China is one local business of which I will never again come...

Only gave one star because I can't give anything less. Customer service was trash. Upon ordering we waited about half an hour for our food. The food we got was OLD. I mean it was RANK, just heated up. Took it back to get a refund, which was declined. Lady inside offered to "exchange" our food and, in her own words, "cook it right this time." I told her no repeatedly, we just wanted our money back, we received old food. (Not willing to give the restaurant another chance for obvious reasons.) She refused the refund. We told her to smell the food because just by smelling it was obvious the food was bad. Our sweet and sour sauce had a fermented taste and smell. The rice was old and dry. The BBQ pork was overcooked and chewy, like old gum. The only thing that was RIGHT with our order was the 2-liter Pepsi we got prepackaged. The lady refused to give us a refund and admitted to knowingly serving us old food. Asked if she does this to everyone, she responded, "no, just you." Long story short, I will not be giving my business and money to a restaurant that knowingly serves old and BAD FOOD!!! DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE BECAUSE ONCE YOU BUY IT, IT'S YOURS OLD OR NOT! THEY DO NOT...
