First, and most certainly, the last time I will ever walk into one of these establishments. The food - terrible. The price - higher than average. The customer service - just bad all the way around.
Honestly, I’m not a big sandwich person to begin with but I will hit up a Subway on occasion. My main reason for trying this place out was I saw a bunch of people going in/out of it so I’m thinking to myself it must be good to have this many customers, right? Wrong. Just so very wrong.
Let’s start with the chick behind the counter. No smile. No how are you. She looked miserable and it showed all over her face. Mind you, I’ve never been at a JJ’s before so I’m not 100% certain how to order. All I knew was that I wanted a smaller sandwich instead of the regular size one. I asked if I could get “option A” in a little John - she said No. I asked if I could get “option B” in a little John - she said no. At this point I’m getting irritated because she could’ve just told me what I could/couldn’t order. I’m frustrated so I just order a Cubano and move on. Grabbed a drink and some chips and took a seat.
The guy making the sandwiches was pleasant and he called us when the order was ready. I didn’t know what to expect but I can tell you this, I did not expect a super cold sandwich with cold meat on cold, tough bread. I mean, for goodness sake, have you ever tried the CHEW cold bacon? It was disgusting. How do you serve cold, chewy bacon to a customer? After the unpleasant encounter with the lady who took our order I wasn’t about to go up there and ask her to pop it in the microwave for me so I suffered through about half of it before I threw it in the trash.
I seriously left there frustrated that I just blew thru $26 for THAT!!!!

I ordered a Turkey Tom Giant and received my sub in less than 15 mins, great and the young man who delivered it was pleasant. I opened the sub to only lettuce, tomato and mayo(zero turkey) I called the store to report that my sub had no turkey and the young lady that answered the phone asked "Ms are you sure because I made that sub myself"? I told her I was looking right at it and she asked me to check the other side, it was turkey on the other side. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "She speaking" her exact words! She said she was going to send the delivery guy back and she had only two people working at the store and they were busy, I told her I understood because I work retail also, however it toke 42 mins to receive the sub and I called back to speak to the manager and her words were" Oh honestly I forgot bout you but he on the way back". (Unreal) I hate to leave this kind of review because my sub was actually good, but someone needs to train and coach the young lady that's the manager on how to deal with these kinds of issues. Read moreThis location is usually good. But the girl who just answered my call is lazy and stupid. If they don't get my order right, I'm getting all my money back, for my recent order and my last one.
I wasn't going to put the issue, but another reviewer experienced the same. I called to tell them that I didn't get the avocado I ordered and to please remember it for this order. And the girl told me that it was between the cheese. Excuse me? It wasn't. A customer tells you that something is missing, you don't tell them it's hiding somewhere, you moron. You correct the error.
If it's wrong this time, they're never getting my business again.
Edit: They once again didn't include the extra I paid for. Girl told me it was between something, and then she hung up on me. Never ordering from here again, and calling their corporate to report this idiocy.
Edit #2: A guy, perhaps the manager, brought me another sandwich without my asking. But the thing about it is, I don't trust it. Your worker gets an attitude with me and it's just supposed to be fine because you dropped off another sandwich? Sorry, not sorry. I...
