I give this KFC location a 1 star only because I can't leave a -2. First, let me say we have eaten at many KFC restaurants across the country and have been pleased with the quality of food and level of pleasant customer service. Sadly, yesterday at the Garners Ferry Location in Columbia our order was grossly incomplete, poorly prepared, the employees were unfriendly and they tried to charge us DOUBLE the cost for our order. We ordered a bucket meal of 12 EC Tenders that was to come with 6 sauces, large mashed potatoes/gravy, large fries and 4 biscuits. Then we ordered an additional 5 sides of coleslaw and 5 sides of mashed potatoes/gravy. It was difficult to place our order because the employee was not paying attention and the communication through the drive thru was a challenge. When we received our food they tried to charge us DOUBLE the cost for what we ordered. We got this corrected by the manager, who then confirmed our correct order and bill. This process took a very long time which was frustrating to say the least. At home we realized that we did not have all of the food we ordered and PAID for. We did not get our large mashed potatoes/gravy, large French fries, sauces or all of the individual servings of mashed potatoes/gravy or coleslaw that we paid for. Also, we were very disappointed by the quality and taste of the chicken tenders as they were incredibly small, mostly breading and extremely over cooked...thus they were dry and chewy. Read moreI recently ordered from KFC via the mobile app, selecting the pick-up option and placing my order 15 minutes prior to arrival. However, upon reaching the restaurant, I encountered a series of disappointments that marred the entire experience.
Firstly, despite the advanced order placement, none of the items were ready when I arrived. This resulted in an unexpected wait time of over 30 minutes, which was inconvenient and frustrating.
Furthermore, upon receiving my order, I found that the 6 chicken littles, which I had specifically customized to exclude pickles, were all prepared with pickles included. This oversight was particularly frustrating as it's not the first time this location has made such errors. It seems necessary to double-check every order, which becomes especially cumbersome given the 30-minute drive required to reach the restaurant.
Additionally, the bucket of 12 chicken pieces I ordered was disappointingly dry, further diminishing the overall satisfaction of the meal.
While I understand that mistakes happen, the repeated nature of these errors at this location is concerning. It's disheartening to consistently encounter issues with order accuracy and food quality.

Read moreStopped by 6/4/24 about 6pm walked in and seen about 4-5 people waiting for their food. I walked up to the register, stood there for about 5 minutes before a cashier (trainee) walked up and she said "What do you want?" Really unfriendly and like I was bothering her. So started to say my order "8 pc family meal with double" about that time she just walked away from the register, didn't say anything to me at all, just walked away. She started talking to another employee telling her that I ordered an 8pc, the other employee told the trainee not to take anymore orders and to get away from the register. I am still standing there, about 2-3 standing behind me, waiting to order. The other employee walked food out to a car waiting in the parking lot (not saying anything to anyone waiting in the lobby). When she came in she went straight to the back. So I decided I to go threw the drive-thru. I got to my car and there was 3 people waiting in the drive thru so I waited. Then I heard the employee tell the customer in the drive-thru "We aint got no chicken." This is not the first time I have been to this location and they didn't have any chicken.
