As a long time regular at this location Iām very very disappointed in the way we was treated the so called general manager yanked food from my wife and then proceeded to ask us to leave because of the terrible quality of food dry chicken the fact we told him we was 5+ regulars mattered nothing this was the first terrible experience with the food instead of trying to address the issue he was more worried about the back of the house he was the actual ācookā so that said a whole lot about the way this particular location is now ran! We was polite and calm until the so called general manager snatched the plate from my wife for absolutely zero reason then he came back out again with a terrible attitude talked over the customer then threatened the police are you kidding me! He screwed the really good server out of her hard earned tip she did a fantastic job she was the only good thing out of this entire experience Iāve visited Applebees locations across the entire United States as a matter of fact Iāve went to. Over 28 different states and this is by far the worst experience Iāve ever had whomever is the so called general manager needs to be trained better and on top of needs to be placed in the back of the house considering thatās all he truly carried about!!!! I never thought we would ever complain about Applebees at any location on the entire United States but apparently the general manager is in way over his head! If he is willing to treat the customers who are repeat and have been coming to that particular location for nearly 5 years thereās absolutely no telling how he would really treat first time customers maybe this review wonāt do any good but I can promise you this we will never spend another dime until he is gone and better management is in place this is the best location you have in this entire town of Columbus itās...

She brought them back pretty quickly, at which point we were ready to order. We ordered two appetizers, in addition to our meals. Our appetizers were brought to us when our meal was, which took over 20 minutes. Mind you, it was not busy. The purpose of ordering an appetizer is to have it before your meal. After getting our meal, I will say the server did a good job of checking on us and asking if we needed anything else, so we didnāt make a fuss over the long wait for the food/appetizer. However, we ran into another issue when it came time to pay. After giving her our payment method, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes. The server stayed gone so long, we were wondering if it was an issue with our card, eventually she came back and apologized, said the machine was giving her issues. I donāt know what was the issue this day. My family and I go out the way to visit this location versus the one on Gentian because we think the service and food is better quality, this day left a bad taste in our mouth. A good amount of our time was spent waiting when it shouldnāt have been that. We left the restaurant after 2 pm! 2! Never have we stayed that long in a restaurant after we ate. Other than that I'd have given them NO STARS! I went to the restaurant for the purpose of ordering the salmon. I couldn't, because they were out. So I ordered the bourbon street steak cooked MEDIUM WELL topped with shrimp. My husband ordered the same thing except he wanted his cooked MEDIUM RARE. I ordered the riblet platter and grilled chicken for my twin sons. I ordered appetizers as well. When they came we hadn't been given silverware so I asked the server for some. That's when he told me the dishwasher was broken & he'd be bringing plastic silverware. I asked about them having a person to wash them instead & he informed me that they did but that had suffered a seizure in the bathroom last night while he was at work & a customer discovered him & he had to get stitches. So, this injured employee was going to wash silver ware but it would be a whileš¤·š½āāļø My twin sons got their food, it was dry & tasted old.
