I’m sharing again since my last review was hidden. Several other reviews from customers who witnessed what happened were also removed.
I was a loyal shopper of this store until March of last year. I went here to get necessities after my apartment burned down in a fire. I paid with a cashier and my items totaled over $200 dollars. I didn’t realize that I had forgot a $65 dollar air mattress underneath the cart. “Loss Prevention” watched me forget the item and waited for me to leave the cash wrap. They stopped me before I got to the door and immediately ushered me over to the security room and accused me of theft! I offered to pay for the item over and over again and explained that I had more than enough money to pay for it. They weren’t willing to listen to anything I had to say. They pressured me into taking a picture, giving my information, and then put me in a national database for thieves. They also put me on the no-trespassing list.
I was humiliated and this caused extra stress to an already stressful situation. I’ve never had any incidents at Target and to be put on that list was very extreme and unnecessary, especially when I offered to pay for it when reminded!
After a viral TikTok, I received a phone call from the corporate office apologizing, admitting that they could’ve handled the situation differently, and ensuring me that I would be taken off the theft database. They also said that their employees would be receiving additional training. All I wanted was an apology and my name removed from the theft database. Needless to say, I no longer feel comfortable in Target and they’ve lost me as a loyal customer.
Please revisit your loss prevention policies as innocent customers are...
Read moreI wish there was a negative star rating. This is the most disgusting and confusing target I've ever been to. As soon a you walk into the store, there's receipts and all kinds of garbage on the floor to greet you (I'm talking about in the entrance, not outside). Even walmart is kept much cleaner than this target. I was absolutely blown away. Looks like a tornado went through a long line of trash cans, and threw everything everywhere. Just walking into this store offset my good mood.
I proceed to the shoe section to find out this is a target designed for women's shoes, and not men's. They had an entire section of women's shoes, but a few scattered spots in the men's department that had bare minimal selections. I could honestly count the mens selection on my hands. If they condensed the mens shoes, it would be a little shelf one they took duplicates off display.
I'll under no circumstances be back at this target in the future. This place made me wish I would've went to Wal-Mart instead, and to me, that's a terrible and shocking feat.
Whoever is running this store location, you should not be allowed in a business that revolves...
Read moreI arrived at the store at 7:15 am on 11-22-2020 to purchase a TCL 65” tv that was a Black Friday Special. When I entered the store there were several people in the customer service line waiting to purchase the tv. I went to electronics and one of the associates pointed me in the direction where the Black Friday Tv’s were placed. Another associate informed me they just sold their TCL 65” TV. After spending 10-15 mins contemplating on purchasing a different TV I decided to leave the store and not make a purchase. Upon leaving the store I notice a Target associate purchasing the TV they claimed was sold out? I asked for a manager and spoke to them about the issue I’m having with an employee purchasing the tv before the customer. The manager explains the policy, but slips up and says they held the tv in the back for the associate. I contacted the 1-800 # that was given by the manager only to get nothing accomplished. At bare minimum I would expect a rain check, a follow up from the store manager, and/or an apology? Nothing! Unfortunately, I will NEVER shop at Target again due to the lack of customer service and dishonesty from...
