Came in from Chicago to see last game of the year. I would have rated this place a 4 BUT I am going to be a biased patron. Was asked for my D.L. and Debit card to open a tab. As I was closing out my tab I never received my ID back. The male bartender said they didn't have it and to ask the female bartender. This is my fault for not paying attention and getting tipsy bc I asked the 2 girls of many bartenders who both went and looked and said they didn't have it. I was confused and thought maybe I just misplaced it. The next day was a Sunday and they are closed so I had no chance to get it. My GF called that Monday bc she lost her e-cig only to find out they had both. She asked the gentlemen if they could send the e-cig and ID due to the circumstances of what I was told and that we were back in Illinois. He said yes, but not to expect it anytime soon he was going to ship it standard. So today 4/22 I called and talked to a gentleman named Tyler only to find out they have a " no mail " policy and the only way I can get the ID is come pick it up. I had roughly a 50$ tab I tipped around 12$ drinks only. I wasn't a ass about it, so to think someone from the place can't drop my ID in a USPS box which will be sent to my house for FREE isn't to much to ask is it? I can understand the e-cig bc that might involve shipping charges which I would be happy to send $ first to get it back. I would just recommend anyone from out of town to take note of this in case it happens to them. My opinion of the bar is its HUGE and a lot of FUN for a younger crowd! The music for the dance floor was great and we all had a blast. The place was slammed so getting drinks was a wait but expected. If you're younger crowd that likes loud music in a industrial type building ( big and open ) this is your place.
UPDATE 5/10/2016: I just found out about the response John (GM) left on Google . I had to actually go back and look myself though. ( Google should let you know that someone responded to your feedback instead of you having to check yourself ) . I am very happy that John said he would send back the ID and E-cig to address listed on my DL. He was very nice and explained the policy to me. They are just trying to be professional with the business, and secure with people's personal identification / bank accounts. I really appreciate and respect that! Since everything was handled extremely professional I would happily come back again! This is the way customers are supposed to be treated. Thank you John and good luck...
Read moreMy friends and I enter this establishment expecting to have a good time almost every weekend but on Friday February 16th, the night did not go that way. Brother’s has a policy where only women can dance on the stage which is fine. But then one of the employees at Brother’s decided to approach my friend, on his birthday btw, in such an aggressive manner that myself and another friend of mine had to calm the situation and move off the stage. Imagine that, intoxicated customers having to calm a sober employee...tacky. He must’ve been new because I know employees in Brother’s know me and my friends by face. I’ve been going there for years, and have never been treated the way we were treated the other night. By the way, we are all black with the exception of my female friend.
After we removed ourselves from the situation, three white males get on the stage. And the same employee appears next to them but does not engage with them AT ALL. So my friends and myself decide to stand next to those white men because clearly in their presence we were safe. After the white men get tired of dancing and step down, the employee appears to us again. And this is where we address his blatant racial bias. Next thing you know, he has us kicked out, which is whatever, but I requested to speak to a manager. The manager was pretty much doing his best to blow us off, asking us if he would see the discrimination on his cameras. Yes you would. So to whomever that was, I hope you do check your cameras, I hope you do a better job of hiring employees that will treat paying customers the way they should be treated and I hope you also learn to treat your regular customers with more courtesy.
I will no longer purchase anything from your establishment and I will no longer recommend this place to...
Read moreAbsolutely appalled. It was dead last night and my girlfriend, who only had two shots, was deemed ‘too drunk to be there.’ Despite the fact that if our eyes ‘looked droopy’, it’s due to working long hours throughout the week but they didn’t care or listen to this. Regardless, I tried to comply and discuss the situation, but it resulted in me being dragged out of the bar and physically hurt, and we weren’t even drunk nor was I being difficult to handle. I simply attempted to discuss it with these two guys(one is buff and tall/white with short spiked hair. Easily in his 20s. The other is an African American with long dreads). I would avoid this place. The two bouncers who did this are lucky I don’t press charges. I did, however, file a report to the police for assault which will be expedited and arrive on the desks of people who matter, and I will make sure it’s investigated. I already contacted my cousin who’s an extremely successful attorney. We’re both on the fence of whether or not it’s worth my time to press charges. It’s cool if you want to treat campus kids who act like fools in this manner, but assaulting innocent people who are just trying to hang out with friends is never okay. Maybe they should recognize that you shouldn’t assault people who know the higher ups in both Franklin County PD and Columbus PD. This isn’t the last time this place will hear from me. I’m absolutely disgusted. I’ve never been treated like that at a bar before. So, if you want to lawyer up and sue people, go here. If not, I would suggest drinking a beer at home. It’s a lot cheaper than the legal fees you’ll have to pay. P.S. this is the first time I’ve ever left a review on something, but I think people...
