Goood Friends — Restaurant in Columbus

Everything here is absolutely delicious and mind blowing to say the least. Fried chicken sandwich is crispy and the sauces and bread quality on the bun are excellent. The burger is the best in Columbus by far, I’m honestly speechless; I’ve had some great burgers in my day and this is up there in the rankings for sure. All of the sauces, the potatoes, the corn, even down to the PB&J Moon Pie; all excellent. This place obviously puts care and quality into everything on the menu and I think I speak for all of Columbus when I say we’re grateful to have a place with this quality level of comfort food in the city, especially nestled within such a cool spot in Jackie-O’s. So I was walking around downtown, looking for a bite to eat. I thought stopping by Gooodfriends would be a good option. WRONG. As I am about to enter through their walk in gate area, some guy wearing regular street clothes approaches me to ask for ID. So I guess you need to present ID to get a sandwich. When I ask him to show anything that he actually works there. He says no. So not only do I find it dumb to ask for ID to get a sandwich but now I am being asked by someone who may or May not work there, with no ID to show that he works there (oh the Irony). The food itself is top notch. One of the best burgers and chicken sandwiches you can get in Columbus. HOWEVER, they ROUTINELY stop accepting orders hours before they officially close, and if you work long hours and just want to grab something quick, might as well not even attempt Goood Friends. I’m sitting in the parking lot and there’s maybe a few people, and they allegedly close in 2 and a half hours(per google) and they’re not accepting orders online. There is no one here and this happens FREQUENTLY. Goood friends don’t let you down! Sucks, I’d eat here a lot more but this is like my 4th time in the past 3-4 weeks this has happened.
