I’ve been living here for almost two years, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They advertise rent as $1,200, but after all the extra fees, it’s closer to $1,800. When I first moved in, the building had security to deal with issues like homeless people breaking in and stealing, but the new management fired them, and now those problems are worse than ever. Package theft is a massive issue, and the staff here are just straight-up lazy. They don’t bother directing delivery drivers to the right locations, so packages are left randomly all over the lobby. They implemented a lock-and-key system to "secure" packages, but it only makes things more inconvenient since you have to track down a staff member to unlock the door—who may or may not even be there. And on Sundays? You’re out of luck. The building isn’t open seven days a week, so if you need a package, you have to wait until Monday. Even when staff are around, they do the bare minimum. I once ordered something off Amazon, and because no one was there to let the driver into the package room, my package was left sitting on the main entrance island table for six hours—on a workday—while the front desk was just four steps away in clear visible sight of the workers . The management here is nothing but money-hungry. I once had trouble covering the late fee they charge (after a full 2 years of rent paid on time everytime on the first) just for being one day behind on rent and asked if they could waive it because I had just finished paying for my uncle’s funeral. Their response? “There’s nothing we can do.” My only options were to pay more over time or get evicted. No compassion, no flexibility—just a heartless corporation that wants every dime they can get from you. Fire alarms randomly go off, and the fire department keeps coming to check the same issues in everyone's apartment, but nothing ever gets fixed. Meanwhile, maintenance and management take no accountability. They cut corners at every opportunity while charging residents as much as possible. The fancy view and amenities wear off fast—after six months, you’re left with overpriced rent, terrible management, and constant frustration. I only stayed because moving wasn’t an option for me this past year, but if you have a choice, run. This place is not worth it. EDIT (February 24, 2025): After leaving this review, management reached out to me, but instead of addressing the issues, they essentially told me that other residents are fine with the way things are—so I should be too. They admitted they can’t control where Amazon leaves packages, that packages still get stolen, and that their “locked package room” system still fails to prevent theft. Meanwhile, I’ve received emails from Amazon refusing deliveries because this building is known for package issues. They also claimed that fire alarms only go off due to minor incidents like cooking, yet the fire department has repeatedly come to check multiple units—which contradicts their explanation. And while they say they clean up pet waste daily, it’s still a noticeable issue. At this point, it's clear that management isn’t interested in making real improvements, just in defending their poor decisions. If you’re thinking of moving here, don’t just take the word of the people who took a quick tour—read the reviews from actual residents who have to deal with these ongoing problems. The moment they have your money, your concerns will be brushed off.

I hesitated to post this since I understand how frustrating it can be to run this apartment community, despite the horrendous experiences I had at Industry - I do applaud the team for managing to stick it through. The first thing, I would like to comment on is the trash such as pictured. This was a major issue. The trash chutes are extremely small and there is only a recyclables bin on the first floor. Therefore residents and nonresidents frequently left their trash in the middle of the dark/dimly lit room which often led to sticky floors and foul hallway smells. Between the smell of the trash room and smell of poop that would be abandoned in public spaces, I spent a lot of money on fragrances and cleaning supplies to prevent the smell from entering the apartment. There was a homeless problem that ran its course even until the day I was moving out. Homeless people would enter the lobby looking for coffee or crash on the couch. The problem was addressed by security for about two weeks before going back to normal. During my move out, I found myself using the inconvenient garage because of the amount of homeless people lingering in the lobby. Third, I would like to comment on the loud music disturbances made during my time. Because of the thin walls, I would hear my neighbors music sessions during the workday and when I would ask the leasing office to address this - they would share they were unable to identify the source of the disturbance, even when I would share an exact apartment number. The SmartRent functionalities never worked and when trying to work with the team, they would ask you to call in as oppose to email and will keep you on hold for hours without ever connecting to anyone. At anytime, you will find nonresidents using the amenities and will not leave room for residents to use - such as the pool and social room.

I initially moved to industry when it was under different management, but since management has changed multiple times in the year I have been here there has been nothing but problems. I would only move here if you want to feel unsafe, be unable to use your amenities, and have to deal with management that do not care about resident needs/asks and makes excuses for their inability to come up with effective solutions as you can see by the responses to these reviews that invalidate residents' sentiments of feeling unsafe and unsatisfied living here.

Since moving here the new Harbor Group Management have chosen to cut corners wherever they can to the detriment of the residents. They originally had a security guard which was removed, and since being here without security there has been a fight in the lobby that residents had to handle and call the police to de escalate. There have also been homeless individuals that camp out in the entrance leaving trash and cigarettes and have followed residents in the parking garage. Most recently I watched a warrant be served at the pool because large groups of kids are now sneaking in. Due to lack of security in the building I would strongly advise against moving here if you have children. Don't expect any sympathy from leasing management here as when there were complaints the most often response was that they did not hear these complaints from other residents that love living here and excuses, dismissing the very scary experiences & concerns others have had instead of trying to come up with solutions which is a pattern you can see in their responses to reviews. Since these complaints it has only gotten worse, showing they don’t care, as they now leave the garage we pay $135+ for ajar which has leant to food delivery coming through that way and asking residents to let them up the elevator which has only caused me more fear and concern living here.

Other things Harbor Group has gotten rid of include any convenient way to get your mail, the healthy snack market replaced with the cheapest vending machines out there and the printer service even after residents have given options that were in place before that could be used. The mail and market were replaced with incompetent solutions management continues to give when there are new problems because of the lack of security or diligence to use cameras in place lending to theft. You are unable to get your mail outside of the hours the leasing agents are there to unlock the mail room which I find very exclusionary to the hard working people with regular work hours/don’t WFH. Therefore if you need a package and miss the hours you are out luck no matter how much you need it for trips/work/ect. Like many issues residents have had to handle themselves, we bring in packages left outside the mail room to reduce theft, the printer that is now being used was from another resident because management did not care to help, and over the summer other residents had to clean the pool and ensure it was nice for everyone. So, all of the absorbent fees you are paying you minaswell spend elsewhere where you can actually use amenities you are paying for. Here there is always something; right now there is a bullet hole in the gym last year it was the thermostat being broken that lent to it being locked lending it to be 80+ degrees during the summer. It was impossible to work out without feeling you were going to pass out. When that wasn't broken the pool was causing leaks and water in the gym unless the pool was closed all together without warning. Last year it was during the 4th of July

With how expensive this building is you can get alot more for your money. At the very least the ability to feel safe and have management that cares about your well being. The only positive thing I can say is the maintenance team is wonderful. To show you how much harbor group doesnt care they even completely upgraded the lobby so that they could fool more residents into coming, a slap in the face, instead of putting that money towards tending to the complains...

I would not recommend this location to anyone.

If I meet anyone on a tour and they ask me how I feel I will be telling them all of this.

When I initially toured and signed my lease I liked the building, but since the change in management everything has gone downhill.

They have made several changes and are claiming that "it is safer", "majority of people like the change", "they made the change in the residents' best interest" and these are all LIES. (read the other reviews and the responses you will see it is the same each and every time. they will respond with a generic message, proving they probably didn't even read the complains)

To start, it is filthy in the building. The staircase is covered in debris, poop, urine, and garbage. When reporting these conditions, the response is "we don't know how often they clean it or we cannot control when it gets cleaned". They have no regard for how their residents feel and I have met several residents who have lived here for years who are leaving when their lease is up due to this horrific management change.

Next, is the change in package retrieval with no notice. I have had packages go missing with this "safer" way. Also, if you happen to have a job where you will not be home during their business hours the solution is they will leave your packages out in the open unattended. Please explain to me how this is safer then having a door that only residents can access. In addition, if packages get delivered not during hours the delivery team will leave your package outside/in the vestibule. Once again, how is this a safe method? There are numerous times each week (probably everyday) where none of the workers are in their office or at the front desk meaning that even during office hours you will not be able to receive your package.

The only positive I have is for the maintenance team. They are very nice and work quickly.

This place is 100% not worth your money unless you enjoy not being able to get packages, stepping over bodily fluids while trying to go down the stairs, and complete disregard of your feelings about your...
