Mr. Hibachi Downtown — Restaurant in Columbus

Independent hear numerous of times have taken my family. I don't know what was going on that day or why but very very rude waiter, Took forever and what I mean forever obviously. I'm exaggerating but to order. So all I wanted was an extra lobster. No granite I've already ordered the steak and lobster. My son had gotten the chicken and Are other guests which we were celebrating her graduation? She got the lobster and the steak.. So I wanted another lobster to go along because it wasn't very big and I was told I can't order just the lobster I have to order. The whole meal I said I don't want to hold meal. I just want the lobster. After basically the waiter arguing with me when I'm just trying to explain it. 's OK if you could maybe talk to someone just. I want the lobster only finally. I can't just give me the whole meal that will be fine. I don't know if it was out of frustration or what but my order comes out and And it's been 45 minutes well. I'm done eating we are all donee at this point. The waiter city forgot to put it in to tell the chef so I wait another 20 minutes receive it. And take it home so here I've spent and we're not talking. This is a 5 star restaurant but it has a pretty good reputation of what to expect. It's pretty as Simple. concept. Do do not order here unless you want your food wrong/missing and not fresh . I placed an order and they didn’t give me all my food I ordered they left out a whole meal. Tried to call them and they are closed. Called next morning still no answers / they didn’t remedy this issue. My order was completly wrong I order white rice lobster and steak and got fried rice and no veggies like I ordered and no eggs for one order (Not the worse thing ) the wing was gross nasty and they gave three total wings for 4.99$ (ripoff) . Next I’m missing the other order. Shrimp and steak hibachi order not in the bag beware and be careful check ur order do not assume the restaurants is capable of ensuring the order are done correctly. They obviously arent. Bad service as well the people that work here are rude. And also the food was pretty gross because it tasted not fresh and old would not recommend. Called the next day today and no answer they do not pick up the phone they know what they did this is a poor way to treat a paying customer. Update still not update...

Came here as a second choice for dinner because our first choice was closed and was not disappointed! The group I was with needed a close place to the Greater Columbus Convention Center and this is less than a 5 min walk away from the South entrance. It wasn't busy when we got there and we got our food quickly after ordering. Was there with about six teenagers who are a little indecisive and the cashier was patient while we looked over the menu and asked questions. One of our students was allergic to Sesame so we were pleased to know that they do not use Sesame oil or Sesame seeds in any of their cooking! The inside is a little underwhelming and there is not a lot of seating, but our group of 9 fit (took most of the seats). The price is reasonable and considering what you pay in the Convention Center for food/drinks, this is a happy spot for your wallet. It only took is about 7 mins to get to the Nationwide Arena afterwards so it is definitely a stop we will make again if/when we are back...
