On Friday, May 8th, I ordered cookies to be delivered at 1 P.M. on Sunday, May 10th, for Mother's day. My mother loves cookies very much and I thought it would be something nice to add to her gifts. One of the main things I was looking forward to is that they would be delivered warm. I also added that I would like texting updates. After I placed the order I received an email stating all this information. Around 3:45 on Friday while I was at work I received a text from my sister that the cookies had arrived. I had received no text or email that the cookies had been delivered. I wasn't off the clock until 6, I got home around 6:30. Obviously by then the cookies were no longer warm. It even said on the receipt that was attached to the box that they were to be delivered on May 10th at 1 P.M. I emailed letting them know what had transpired, they asked me for my order ID. I waited until Saturday for a response, in the afternoon I emailed again with no response. Finally in the late evening on Saturday they emailed apologizing and said they could still deliver the cookies on the day and time I requested. I emailed back instantly. The cookies were never delivered and it is now Monday, after Mother's Day, and I still have not received any email.
I am well aware that times are hard right now with COVID-19, I work a very rough essential job. And normally I wouldn't even care about such a simple thing as a box of cookies, but it is absolutely ridiculous how horrible the customer service is. Not only did they mess up the order to begin with but even after offering to deliver them on the right day and me accepting, they couldn't even do that. My advice if anyone is ordering these cookies is to place the order and hope they show up eventually. Cookies were not of the highest quality, but something easy if you don't feel the desire to bake...
Read morePlaced an order at 9:45 PM on a Saturday. Just two classic cookies with two ice cream cups (two scoops each). Delivered at 10:33 PM. I understand that this may be a busy time to order, but that's quite a long wait for being less than a quarter mile away. Granted, delivery was fast, 3 min according to the tracker, but it took 45 min to fill the order and send it out!
Not impressed once it arrived. Gluten Free Chocolate Chip was kind of warm and soft; not bad. But the Double Chocolate Mint was cold and hard; seemed either overcooked or just stale. Ice cream was not melted, but the scoops were quite small for the price. "Caramellionaire" barely seemed to have any caramel; much more like plain vanilla.
Overall, just kind of underwhelming. For $21, I certainly expected something much better than I could get from the supermarket at 1/4 the price!
Also, definitely don't like the idea of prepaying the tip; that should be based on quality of service, which I can't know until after the order has been delivered!
Update: Got an offer for a free Classic Cookie after providing feedback on my previous order. Decided to get the Double Chocolate Mint again to see if they could improve on the quality. This time, I opted for pick-up instead of delivery. Perhaps because it was a Monday rather than a weekend day, the order was filled quickly and ready before the pickup time. Cookie was warm, soft, fresh and actually much bigger than the previous one. Night-and-day difference.
So it seems that consistency is the...
Read moreVisited yesterday on a whim since we've driven past this location several times. Walked in, no one was behind the counter, but we could hear people in the back speaking. After several minutes, someone called out that they would be right with us. No problem, at all. She soon came up front and asked us what we'd like where we informed her we were first timers. She gave us a quick wrap of the menu and after being informed quite a majority of the cookies were getting baked right now, we were left with a couple options. The worker, herself, seemed to not really care and was lacking any kind of positive attitude. Instead, it seemed we were bothering her with trying to order.
My boyfriend got a Peanut butter cup monster cookie ice cream sandwich, while I got a simple chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. My boyfriend's cookie was warm, fresh, and tasted amazing. Mine, not even close. With plastic sporks, I couldn't even stab into my cookie. The spork broke, so I replaced it and continued trying to dig through the rock that was supposed to be a "hot, fresh cookie". I took 2 bites, threw it away. How am I expected to eat a rock hard cookie with plastic silverware? Impossible
Is it truly that hard to microwave or heat up a cookie? Instead, supbar personality and service kept the employee from actually "trying" to impress first time customers. As a food service worker and waitress, the extra 5 seconds it would have taken would have been the biggest difference. Won't...
