The Horseshoe Country Bar & More — Restaurant in Columbus

As an alumni I am very aware of how many of the bars were run before graduating. Post graduation I was happy to return to campus to find that many of the bars were still as I remembered until entering the Horse Shoe and little bar to find that the owner now includes a gratuity fee on his bills. I am all for tipping the an employee based on their work, but if I have terrible service and see a standard fee on my bill I would be very upset. Lucky for John his employees are top of the line. This review is to bring more light on the fact that if you wanna be as popular as other bars in the area you have to hold yourself to the standards other owners hold themselves too. I went there to see my son's band play. They charged me 20 dollars per pitcher of beer. The pitcher's seemed to be smaller than most bars. When I questioned the guy as to why it was so much he acted like I was stupid for asking. Most bars charge less than half of that for more product.
