Heads up, if you have more than 4 people in your party, they won't be able to seat you together. This is a decent sized restaurant, but they only offer 4 person booths or 2 seater tables. We had a party of 9 and they seemed completely flustered on how to seat us. I gave them a few minutes to try and figure it out, but eventually I started offering suggestions because they couldn't seem to figure it out. Honestly, we should have turned around and left at that red flag. We split up into 2 booths near each other, but it made it very difficult to have conversation and share food. Everything we ate was mediocre at best. When the waitress delivered my house salad, my sister looked at it and said "That is the saddest looking salad I've ever seen."
The pizza reminded us a lot of the mall food court pizza Sbarro. Not sure if those are common down here like they are up north, but I assure you, it's not a compliment. Mall pizza for a much higher price.
My kids ordered the spaghetti & Meatballs and we were shocked at how runny and watery the sauce was. It was like the pasta was sitting in water. My husband & mom said the Meatballs were heavy & dense. My son (who is a solider) spit out his steak hoagie. SPIT IT OUT. This is a kid who's used to eating military food or MREs in the woods.
Lastly, the restaurant was dirty and run down. I'm baffled by the good reviews! Maybe we're just used to a higher standard...
Read moreThe chef salad is awesome and large enough to split between several people. Pizza is always good. The service is always quick and friendly. My little one had the lasagna tonight and really enjoyed it. My boys love the garlic knots. Savannah was our waitress tonight and see did a great job handling our group of 6. July 2, 2022 - the menu is different and not sure if that is a corporate/franchise thing or on the local level but it is a little confusing. Apparently you now have to ask for cheese on the chef salad and only one dressing comes with a large chef salad. All other dressing are .69 cents a piece. Yes that is not a lot of money but feel like the waitress should have said something like you do know there is an additional charge for the salad dressing. I think the price of drinks has increased as well as they are now $2.99 a piece. Our waitress was okay not very friendly. Was more concerned about getting plates off the table than anything else. No one was cleaning off the tables as people were leaving and the kitchen staff were fighting a lot amongst themselves. While we were there 3 different people sent their orders back. One the pizza was burnt, one didn't have the correct toppings, and I couldn't hear why the to go order sent his back. As this is our favorite pizza place I hope it gets back to...
Read moreThis review isn’t to just bash your business, but in hopes to create some internal awareness. We ordered 2 calzones, garlic knots, and a club sandwich Friday evening. We realize Friday evenings are busy, but you should extend your time estimate and or acknowledge the client sitting patiently then not so patiently as the time continues to tick away. A simple update could have alleviated at least some frustration. Then we ended up having to drive back and wait even longer as the sandwich was missing. Your cook didn’t seem to want to take any accountability. Once we got home, we realized the calzones and garlic knots were undercooked, so we had to put them in the oven before eating. Once we were finally able to sit down and enjoy our food, a few bites in to my calzone, I get a severe pain in the right side of my mouth, along with a cracked upper molar as I just bit directly down onto an olive pit. I woke up the next morning with continued pain. You really need to get someone in there (if you don’t already) doing a quality check. Not just on the food being handed out, but on the ingredients being used as well. Not looking forward to seeing my dentist. Long story short, acknowledgment, accountability, and quality assurance goes along way in the realm of...
