Kittie's Cakes — Restaurant in Columbus

My favorite breakfast-scratch that-food is cinnamon buns. I have tried upwards of 100 cinnamon buns from various places across the country. This is hands down the best cinnamon bun I have ever had. It’s like eating a fluffy, ooey gooey, vanilla cinnamon cloud. The icing is a sweet vanilla butter cream that graciously drapes into the perfectly swirled buttery cinnamon goodness of the pastry itself. This bun transports you from what is 2020 to little bit of heaven with every bite.

One of the best parts about these is they are equally as good in the store as they are in your own home. The trick I learned is eating one in the store then taking another few home. That way you can have one peacefully by yourself without the hungry stares of your drooling family and a second while being the hero who also comes bearing yummy breakfast gifts.

We received an email from Diane Herman on August 7 about a cake for an August 13 event. She indicated she would be able to make the cake and it would be $55. We let her know the morning of August 8 that was ok and to send over the invoice. I emailed her every day about getting the invoice and getting the cake made and was ignored. The only thing I could think to cause that response was when I indicated that I might not be able to pay immediately because "Today is a little busy but I will pay it as soon as I see it and have a moment." My further emails continued to reiterate that we were able to pay the invoice immediately. It was too late to get a cake made at either Kroger so it was another year, another box cake. My friend circle isn't that large, but if anyone ever asks me where to get a cake made, I can at least tell them...

I came to Bexley to visit my daughter and she suggested that we come here for coffee and quiche. I was shocked by the way I was treated from the lady with the blonde bob making coffee drinks at the counter. Our cupcakes came out and then she handed me a drink. I thought it was what my daughter had ordered. As I was noticing the receipt attached to the drink she literally bit my head off. She snarked, "Just read the receipt! Is your name on there!'?! Everyone had turned to watch her berate me. She had just handed me the drink. Just so management knows, there is never an excuse for an employee to berate a customer.
