Had a super weird experience with a security guard at the Commons. I was excited to test out getting some shots with my camera on a foggy day, possibly for use in a blog - not something I make money off of, and definitely not professional level photos. My friend and I were approached by a guard who immediately started grilling us on what we were doing taking photos. My camera seemed to be what he had issue with. I explained, and he said they don’t allow commercial photography and that I needed to contact a supervisor to use a camera. I again explained that there was no money to be made off of what I might use them for, and that I had taken photos using my phone at concerts at the Commons before with no issue. As we were leaving, he basically walked us to the parking garage to make sure we were leaving. It felt like a completely unnecessary escalation of a non-issue. • A March for Marriage Equality several years before the 6-26-2015 "Obergefell v. Hodges" U.S. Supreme Court decision]
• Several events in celebration of the Americans With Disabilities Act [ADA
• Several Earth Day celebrations [with tents by vendors and by non-profit organizations]
• A March for Science [that had begun at the Statehouse and had ended at Columbus Commons]

It was a great venue, at least in the perfect 70 degree cloudless sky weather, for a concert. Set up a couple of chairs and enjoyed a pizza we brought with us. Per the organizers, it was the largest crowd ever in the Commons. Whether that was accurate or not, it still felt like there was enough space. Easy to find. Parking in the garage across the street was easy to find and $10 for the event; but a bit congested leaving, as there are only one staircase and two elevators at the double door entrance to the garage that is closest to the Commons. Definitely pay as you are entering or you will be caught in a...
