We ordered for delivery online for cash payment. We placed our order right before 9pm and the app told us we would receive our delivery by 10:41-10:51pm. By 11pm we got notification that our delivery was being transferred to door dash and would arrive by 11:51pm. We received our delivery at 12:15am. Our order was missing cheese sticks and the 4 extra sauces we had paid for with cash because there was no way around it for door dash. We paid cash for food we did not receive because there was no way around it because it was transferred to door dash. I'm sure it's also apparent, but the pizza that did show up was a mess and cold and soggy as it had been sitting for at least an hour. We had tried to call the store twice and were sent to an automated message both times. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had with papa johns and honestly with any food delivery I've ever made which is absolutely insane because it doesn't really get more simple and baseline than paying cash for a pizza delivery. Like, we are out literal actual real cash money over this, due to the store manager (door dash driver said she was horrendous) and beurocratic bullshit.
Edit: edit to add that I am seeing you only respond to 5 star reviews, which is cowardly as a business manager. Be accountable for your mistakes and be open to criticism, and I encourage leading by example. It helps when training and with group morale. I personally find a business runs more smoothly when morale is high.

So I'm standing at the register and the woman I'm assuming was the manager was just yelling at/ blaming all of the young kids who were working in the kitchen. Yelling about how they were driving her crazy and it's always something and what not. I can only imagine how she speaks to them when customers aren't in the store. The kids were all silent, like they were afraid to speak, so I'm guessing she treats them this way regularly. So dude goes to remake my pizza. Mind you, at no point did this woman say hey, I'm sorry I'm not sure what happened we will have to remake it. I only know because of her conversations with the other employees. She never even acknowledged me or addressed me except to tell me much it was even though I had already paid for it. So I waited another 15ish minutes just for it to not have been made right but honestly I think the kid was just so stressed out he couldn't focus. I wouldn't go back just on principal because I don't frequent establishments where 1, the person who's supposed to be helping you can't even be bothered to speak to or acknowledge you and 2, who treat their non management employees the way this woman did. Gave extra instructions to help and was waiting at the door when it said it delivered. Never showed up. Waited at door for 40 minutes. I considered that maybe it got stolen but judging by the other reviews and the fact that I was waiting at the door before and after it said delivered. I called the store while I was waiting and was put on hold for 25 minutes. I hung up and called again which was answered immediately then I explained again that I was just asking about my pizza and was told I’d be transferred over to the manager then I was hung up on. Called again in case the call was just disconnected and the same person answered claiming they didn’t remember me and put me on hold again. I contacted the customer service to double check that I had the right address which I did. So great job to my driver Derek. Kudos to you.
